Booking offers the choice of beds (queen vs double beds), but the hotel apprently "only has singles put together so they make a king size bed" even after they confirm your selection of a queen size bed. The SPA is really just a sauna with a ice/snow fountain.

Breakfast was really really nice, one of the best had in Germany so far.

We had a small problem with refrigerator and a problem with continuous 'running water' in the toilet at times. The button had to be pressed to stop the issue on a couple of occasions.

The view was amazing. Having a balcony was a huge positive. Breakfast was good and convenient. The Dorint is short walking distance from the main part of the city! A major beautiful park surrounds the Augsburg Dorint!

The pillows were so soft they were almost non-existant. Also the breakfast was quite expensive, even considering the variety and quality.

The interrior design (especially the foyer) was amazing. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of litetally everything they had to offer (from types of cereal to jam), freshly (live) cooked eggs the way you asked and a very fine tea assortment. The presentation of the choices at the buffet was also an eye-catcher.

The issue lies with parking as the hotel does not have a parking lot and the streets nearby are often occupied, making it difficult to find parking. Additionally, the fee charged for bringing a dog, which is 20 EUR per day, is higher than what is charged at other similar locations.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre and has a nearby walking trail surrounded by greenery. However, the view from the fourth floor is disappointing. The check-in and check-out processes are quick and hassle-free.

Parking is terribly unpleasant and nuisance. We have been informed after booking, that the Hotel parking would not be available during our staying and we would have to park approximately 500m away from the Hotel facilities. Unfortunately the shower drain was clogged, so after a few seconds you become stepping on a "flooded floor" which is absolutely non hygienic. Hotel Restaurant was not working also. Nobody gave reasons. We had to order food through delivery app to eat in the room. I am sorry, terrible.

Breakfast was decent. Nothing special but tight enough to meet expectations with a basic and reasonable food. The location is also very good and provide good access to the city. Everything was clean except.

The room smelled of cigarettes really bag, and it was too late in the night when I actually came back to my room and realized that it smelled bad, and it was too late to go ask for a different room cause there was no-one at the reception at 1 o'clock in the morning
