Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

HungaryThere is no refrigerator in the rooms, only a minibar with full of bewerages in the kitchen. It will be nice to have a fridge where you can store related goods.
Great location for EF. The place is near to CCH, a weekly market, restaurants and U1 metro station. It has clear rooms and community areas with flowers. You can pay for breakfast, it is a great option and more than enough. Free coffee included from coffee machine, and there is a water purifier as well. The owner is very helpful, you can ask for help in everything. The shower cabin in the room is fun

The bedroom was beautiful with original features and very tastefully decorated . Fittings were very good quality. Lovely self-service kitchen for cereal breakfast and coffee. ItalyThe WC space is NOT a private bathroom included in the room, but a shared bathroom. There are just a few rooms in the hotel and two bathrooms, always extremely clean, so it can be OK, but this is not explained correctly and clearly in the Booking.com description.

RussiaA bit uncomfortable to have a toilet outside of your room but not super crucial.
We traveled with our dog by car so it was very convenient to have a public parking just near the hotel. Very nice facility with simple self check-in. There wasn't problem to stay with our dog. and it was very nice to have a breakfast before leaving. We easily walked to the city centre (I think it was 20 minutes walk).

ItalyThere is one thing I want to mention which I was not aware of when booking (maybe I did not read everything in detail): The toilet is not in the room, but across the room over the hallway. For us it was not a problem at all since there are only 5 room which share two toilets.
We were stunned by the uniqueness of this place. The villa is beautiful and perfectly restored with taste and love. It feels like you are at a private home. The rooms are spacious, very clean and just wonderful. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices. The location could not be better - everything can be reached by walking and the neighborhood is very nice with lots of little bars and restaurants and shops. We would definitely go back there when visiting beautiful Hamburg.

GermanyEverything was great, actually. At first we thought the toilet being shared could be weird, but it wasn't, since it's a small hotel and super clean at all times. Not a problem at all.
Amazing and historical place, very close to the subway (and to a line that is connected to the train station and main attractions), fantastic service. The house is wonderful, chic, super cozy and clean, and Sebastian was a great host, making sure everything was the best possible for us, and allowing us to leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out. Also great at communication. We could also use the kitchen and garden, which was great. Besides tableware, wine glasses etc., we could use the coffee and tea machine. The shower was exceptional. We felt very welcomed and would recommend it to everyone.

GermanyThe hosts were very nice and accomodating. The Hotel's interior is very thoughtfully made with a nice play between the old house interior and modern design furniture and decoration. Really lovely and you really feel the personal touch and a homey atmosphere. The hosts are talkative, if you are looking for some conversation, but we also felt very comfortable with the amount of privacy we could get. We enjoyed the communal breakfast area. Great coffee maker with lots of choices and water and tea included, was very pleasant. We didn’t mind at all that the toilets were communal, too. Still very clean and spacious. Showers are in the rooms.
