The bed was firmer than I like. The furnishings are a bit dated. This was not a big problem for me.

We booked a double room but ended up being placed in a two bedroom suite. We had plenty of room to spread out! The staff was courteous. The breakfast buffet was extensive with farm-fresh eggs, cold cuts, wonderful bread rolls (fresh from the bakery), cheese, yogurt...and of course, hot beverages and juice. The views were incredible from the dining room and our suite. Everything is sparkling clean.

We requested dinner reservations for our group of 7, and received confirmation. However at checkin we were informed that restaurant was closed. With some questioning I was able to get staff to find open restaurant for us, and w further questioning make a reservation, and more questioning a taxi . Should have been more proactive! But in the end problem resolved!

The queen sized bed was cozy but the blankets were individual sized for a single bed. It got chilly and I was not covered enough.

The view from our balcony was beautiful. We had a car and it was a close drive to the sites and hiking trails.

Food was average. Breakfast was from 7-10.We went down to have breakfast at 9. Things like boiled egg & cake were finished . The lady just said sorry. Also, guests before were given welcome drinks at check-in. We were not given

Everything was great, However, the room was smaller than we expected and the odour from washroom wasn't great.

Alpenhotel is located at a perfect location, right at the main road. Very easy to come by car or taxi. We also noticed a bus stop right at the hotel. the breakfast was superb and the view from restaurant was also mesmerising. Not to forget about the staff, super friendly and super helpful. we were stuck in traffic and there was already a packet with keys and all the instructions. we were also given guest card to get a discount at certain locations.

Breakfast room had a wide selection of German fair. Great views out the large windows of the countryside. The bathrooms were newly remodeled. The room was good and clean, and the balcony view of the hillside out back was nice. We came by car, but I saw regular bus transport go by even though its was off the beaten path. Location right next to the "Zauberwald" forest path to lake Hintersee. Easy hike to mountain brook and lake with towering hills.

My bathroom was very tight.

My room had a balcony with a super view of the valley but the bathroom was very tight. Excellent breakfast and good evening meal. Plenty of parking available. Situated in a lovely valley

There was no refrigerator in the room.

The accommodation is in a wonderful location, and we could see a beautiful panorama from the room. A perfect starting point for exploring the area. They had gluten free option at the breakfast.

Modern hotel in traditional chalet style. Lovely large, airy room with balcony. Great location with beautiful alpine views. Ample free parking. Children's playground. Delicious breakfast.

Good hotel, surrouned by nature of mountains, forest, lakes and streams. The view from the balcony was stanning. The room was clean, cosy and very comfortable.

Location great, a lovely quiet spot with local woodland walks and many things to do and see nearbye. Ramsau is lovely and Berchtesgaden is a beautiful area.

The property had some amazing views from the balcony and also very close to Ramsau Altstadt and Hintersee. The staffs were really friendly and ensured to provide all adhoc requests made.
