The photos advertised versus the room we received was very different. The photos showed modern rooms and our room was old, super mall and almost felt like a closet. Our room was also located right above the outside smoking area and all the smoke would go into our room.

Beautiful and unique property - located centrally in Lauptheim. We loved the restaurant, decor and location. Unfortunately our room was the only dissatisfaction.

When I arrived at 2230 after a very long journey without a case as it had been lost in Amsterdam I was reasonably down, it wasn't helped when I asked for some food. No food available at this time. No where nearby where I could get food. The bar shut, no drinks from bar. I went to my room and drunk water and a pillow choc biscuit. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in my room. I had a double bed with 2 single quilts. 1 large quilt would be better. My first night I was cold and didn't know they had radiators I could turn on because they were hiding behind curtains 2nd and third night much better as I knew about radiators and lifted curtains to help heat to come through.

The hotel is pleasantly decorated and the reception is friendly and helpful. The connected steak restaurant is superb and breakfast is also very nice. The reception was very helpful on a morning, booking taxis and also put my found case in my room and returned my lost phone. The room I had was sufficient and the shower was powerful and refreshing.

The location was very good. I liked the modern decor and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to keep the bar open for us later than usual.

no privacy in the shower box(clear glass box). as you don't have a door or clear separation from shower area to bathroom sink area, the whole room gets humid after shower.

the owners have completed the major renovation of the property. it is a combination of all modern features with the old character of the property. the restaurant is, probably, is the best one in Ulm area, serving excellent steaks and a good variety of vines.

Quite a steep fee for my little dog. Could only access hotel parking after check-in, quite difficult as no temp parking in front of the hotel.

A fantastic place with modern rooms and large restaurant with outdoor area. Pets are welcome and parking available, both for a fee. Superb breakfast.

The rooms in the old wing although refurbished a few years back, but still not very contemporary. They are cheaper but not that much. Whoever had the great idea to have clear glass doors on the bathroom, moreover exactly looking at the toilet? This is a bit annoying, especially in a hotel where business guest are more common.. Also having long and thick drapes covering the radiators is not a very clever thing to do... How will the heat get to other parts of the room if all air circulation is blocked by a thick curtain? Breakfast was OK, but not up to 4 star standards in regards of choice, also they only serve from 8.00 on Sundays, which they forgot to mention before. They don't have a minibar in the room, and there isn't an info sheet available with such things to know like late breakfast on Sunday, or when the sauna works etc. Also , there is no phone in the room to call the reception and ask. The beds were waaay too soft

This hotel has very nice common spaces and good restaurant, and probably the rooms in the new buildings are nice too. The staff was friendly and ever helpful. The welness area is very nice especially the resting room with the hanged beds. The restaurant is superb for dinner!

I didn't like the approach of the employees, they asked me to pay for an "update" for another room, not the one I paid for through booking, they took €104 extra because the room I bought through booking was bad, they said that booking was bad and to call the hotel directly the second time. there was nothing in the room except hand soap, a little toilet paper, a room with a view of the wall of another building .. poor breakfast, impossibility to drink coffee outside of breakfast time, bad parking, too short for a normal car .. employees sleep on the sofa in the corridor next to lift... I'm disappointed in general

Shame about the room that was tired and has passed its best. Bed base was faux leather and was flaking and badly worn. Overpriced for the state of the room.
