While the rooms are okay, basic necessities and nice-to-haves are missing as well as some design choices are perplexing . We booked a double bed and got two single beds. The TV is located in an awkward spot diagonally from the beds, giving the window side bed a terrible angle even after tilting the tv. While bath robes are provided, slippers aren’t. Instead you’re supposed to buy expensive ones at the branded store. The breakfast is decent, as the food is fresh and the selection is acceptable, but there could be more day to day variety.

Nice pool area that is very spacious, same goes for the sauna. Feels like a fully fledged spa and not simply a hotel add-on. The mountain-view during breakfast is also exceptional. As far as value for price goes, this aja Ruhpolding is great.

The room is a bit small and the bathroom design is not my taste. The price is not attractive. The room is bit warm in summer without an air conditioning.

We travelled with a baby and we were constantly having to change her diapers in our room so trash accumulated fast. After 2 nights the trash still wasn't collected so we had to explicitly ask for that in the reception. This was a bit disappointing as, for such a big hotel, just by the fact that we requested a baby cot should be enough to trigger a more frequent check by the cleaning crew. Something simple to implement IMHO but that failed. The rooms are good for 2 people only. We were 2 adults and a baby and we had to fit the baby cot plus the stroller and we struggled a bit with the space in the bedroom.

The hotel is great and it was a super relaxing experience for our family. The pool area is amazing and the fact that the hotel has a kids friendly approach was essential for our choice. The bed was amazingly confortable and due to the peaceful surroundings we slept like babies. The breakfast was excellent and with a great variety to choose from. It was also great to have an indoors small playground for the kids. The Chiemgau karte gave us access to many benefits, great initiative!

the staff at both receptions wasn’t polite . at the Spa they didn’t want to talk with me in English. Always responding in German or just giving me the towels with no word. The woman who checked us in also wasn’t polite and she didn’t want to explain about the tickets she is giving us. also she didn’t give us answer abstehst dinner time. The pool is not warm enough

1. The toilet in the rooms has no door, one curtain, and one slide door which is common for the shower and WC, only one of the two can be closed. That means no real privacy and the smells and sounds are on your bed. 2. The majority of the personnel speaks only German or very poor English. Nothing in English, you need a translation application.

The temperature of the swimming pools could be a little bit higher, specially at the time of our visit (beginning of April), can be still a bit cold, and I was expecting more relaxing waters.

The location is fantastic, between the German alps. The breakfast was also very good, with a lot of options and a fantastic hot chocolate. The room was also comfortable and clean, and the spa offered some nice options to relax, we really enjoy the swimming pools, including the kids friendly pool.

I didn't like that the glas door on the toilet was loud and that it is not really separated from the sleeping area so that I can shower while my baby sleeps. But it is visible in the pictures, so it's my fault I wasn't paying attention to it previously.

I really liked the pools and the kids area there. The restaurant was also quite nice and all foods were delicious. The staff is polite and helpful, specially the cleaning lady from Hungary (thank you, I know you were in a hurry and you still made time to help me) and nice ladies by the pool. I would definitely recommend it.

The two rooms for four children and two adults were right next to each other with a door between them. That facilitated our family in a great way. However, the rooms – compared to the price – were too small to accommodate six people including luggage for two weeks of vacation. But that is actually my only claim to the stay.

The restaurant was well stocked for breakfast and had a good menu for both lunch and supper. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as we were there because of a car failure nearby. I had to extend the stay for one day three times totaling four nights.

The room was functional, but not cozy. Maybe I had other expectations for a room in a wellness hotel. Only one door for either the toilet or the shower wasn't very "romantic". Also I didn't like the concept of an open bathroom.

The basic room (~20 sq.m) is too small for the family with a kid. And the glass door to the shower/toilet is a questionable designer solution. We were missing an electrical kettler and mini bar in the room. No slippers in the room. In general the room is good for couples, but not convenient for a family.

SPA and location are great! The food in the restaurant is quite tasty, so, I would recommend to take breakfast/dinner offer (HB).

The food is very average. Especially selection for dinner (one meat and one fish) was poor. On top of this current covid measurements will significantly reduce your time for food which makes me very nervous. The floor in the room has neither heating nor a carpet, so it was totally cold (including bathroom) In a countryside hotel I was surprised to pay 10€/night for parking outside (I was told that I can park for free at the railway station which is 30min walking) The room was cleaned every second day only.

The property is new, clean, modern with a nice swimming pool and with 2-3 saunas. For us it has a very good location, rooms are big enough
