Don’t forget your keys in the room when visiting the toilet or bathroom, it may be difficult to come back to your room.

Reasonable distance from the conference hotel Clarion, about 15 min walk(this is what I appreciate). It was simple, I occupied as single a bedroom with 5beds. And paid as single room. Bathroom (with shower) and toilet both separated in the corridor and shared with other guests. I had an early morning obligations and came late, so without collisions. Clean.

Was difficult to get to the 3rd floor without elevator and with luggage. The entering instructions could have been provided via email, which would make the check in process much easier and without necessity to make phone calls (for some people it might be quite costly to make phone call via cellular, when travelling from another country).

We arrived at 9pm and had no idea how to enter the hostel, as the front door was locked. After dialing a contact number provided on the reservation, we received explanation on how to enter and how to pick the keys. We booked 2 rooms (one double room and one family room for 7 people - both with private bathrooms). The double room had no access to kitchen, while the family room on a different floor had a shared kitchen with 2 other rooms. Bathrooms were in a good condition, there was a liquid soap available. The family room was under the roof and it was nice to have air conditioning to cool down the temperature on a hot day. The rooms and beds/towels were clean. Overall good value for money.

There is not lift. Not comfortable for lifting laggage to upstairs on 4 floor.

The price was high, but it was a hockey weekend so we expected this. A sofa bed would be more comfortable than 4 single beds in a junior suite for a family. A proper shower in the bathroom would be better than the big bath. It had a shower but not that easy to use.

We went to watch hockey so this was the perfect location - only 20mins walk to the Ostrava Stadium. The rooms were clean. Scrambled eggs for breakfast were tasty. There were no fees to park on the street outside

Window store missing in the room, and could be soap and hand-towel in the toilet. Pillow could be more confortable.

The hostel staff were very friendly. I had quite a late check-in (at 8 PM), so I was very glad that the staff helped me get the keys and find the room I was staying in. The bed was really comfortable, which I did not expect from a hostel. The place itself was very clean and it was nice that a towel and shower gel were provided. All in all would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Ostrava again.

They want to have English speaking staff because that was an issue, i had to use Google translate to be able to speak with the lady there, To be honest not a good choice for someone need to use public transport because all far away, Hostel area is residential area so you have to expect a dark knight when you come back late from anywhere. No restaurants or shops.

Nothing really, i have picked this hostel because you can walk 10 mins to Ostrava university. I was lucky the hostel was empty during my stay, but I think if there were people staying during my time it wouldn't be quite as I have experienced.

Kitchen equipment was very basic. Comfort of the room was poor.

Locality was perfect for our event. Price was cheap. The facility was clean and quiet.

Bad area out of the way. The linen of the bed was really old. I turned it inside out to help. I considered buying linen it looked so rough. Noise, there was drilled and hammering for hours in the evening. There was a notice on the entrance about renovation work but I wouldn't expect it to be on a Saturday evening up to about 10 pm. Window handle came off when tried to open window others were already missing. Hole in the wall of bedroom.

I didn't like anything really. There were some basic facilities to cook which you could use to save money but I didn't use. It was shared with 2 other rooms which wasn't clear when booking.

Everything was fine, the room, kitchen area and bathroom was clean, noise was nonexistent. You can even cook if you want, coffee or a full meal, you have everything you need. A nice bar (Tankovna Baníček), LIDL, and the Ostravar Aréna is apporx. 20 minutes on foot. Very nice place in a very nice location. 10/10 would book a room here again. I hope I can return here someday.
