We found the location very interesting but it was a way from the centre and was certainly quite out of the way up a steep hill.

All the facilities were good, a very nice historic building and a good variety of food at both the breakfast and the evening meal. We enjoyed our stay.

It was such a trek to reach this hotel. Based on reviews we read and looking at Google Maps, we thought a 20 minute walk from the train station was no big deal, but we didn’t know that we would have to climb up this massive hill and into a forested/poorly lit area at night. With some light luggage and an average level of fitness, it ended up being closer to a 30-40 minute walk. There were no ride share or taxi services we could avail and the buses run infrequently to this part of town. The staff were very accommodating in waiting for us past the check-in time, but it would be very helpful to offer a booking service for pick-up/drop-off from the train station.

Quiet location, clean rooms. Staff were kind enough to wait until 11 pm for us to check-in when we arrived in town due to a flight and train delay, even though check-in closes at 10 pm.

The staff seemed a little bit overwhelmed and wasn´t therefore overly friendly. But all in all it was ok

The location is lovely, it is in the city but totally quiet in a kind of a park next to an old landmark church. Sitting in the beergarden with fellow guest and enjoying the good food and beer was a highlight. The rooms are big enough, with modern facilities and very clean.

Quiet location, fresh air, everything is clean, good breakfast. Many hiking locations in the nearby forests and mountains - mostly you will need 20-30 mins ride by local bus. Also grateful for the variety of teabags in the room - we used them all.

:) as we were cycling from Dresden in the night, Hotel is located on super tall hill :) not terrible, but for us was crucial climb. its not complaining, but have it in mind. There was some traces of mold in the bathroom in my room

Rooms have all you need. Basement open for bikes was super big and dry and easy accessible and free of charge from the hotel. Very tasty breakfast!!

I was disappointed by the storage for bikes, which could use some maintenance and cleaning. The restaurant had an unpleasant odor and the breakfast was not very satisfying. The location was not very convenient, as there were few options for dining or shopping nearby. The apartment was quite warm under the roof, despite the cool weather outside.

I liked that the room had tea and coffee facilities, which was very convenient.

Staff doesn't speak other languages other than czech or german, this isn't bad, just unannounced. Walls are thin between rooms, hope for silent neighbors.

Everything was perfect, none of us had any complaints.

The hotel is in a quiet, beautiful part of the city. The rooms were very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The staff, especially Sonja were super helpful. Sonja was very kind and provided us with plenty of information. I would absolutly recommend Hotel U Kaple for anyone exploring beautiful Decin.

There is a restaurant outside, and sometimes it was a little bit loud at night - but it wasn't a big problem.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet location, just a short walk from Děčín train station. The staff were very friendly, and it was very quick and easy to check in/check out. Our room was very clean and well-equipped.
