The room was basic, the shower was over the bath but the room was perfectly clean.

The Breakfast was mainly continental with a small section with mainly eggs. This was adequate.

I was staying at the nearby Palace which has Super thin walls. The German tourists nearby thought it was a great idea to have a loud conversation at 11pm . I had to tell them nicely to go to bed.

The acoustic of the rooms is not good. It was possible to hear the guests in the next room talking. The breakfast was acceptable but we got bread hard and the cake was bit dry.

The bed was very comfortable (sheet and mattress) The shower was strong.

The location is not far from the centre but surprisingly quite noisy and to get there from the main train station, I had to navigate some very busy streets. What I did not appreciate was a night club (gentlemen's club) in the same street. There were only very sheer curtains in the room and it was very difficult to find a electric socket that worked even after I switched off the main light. In fact, I had to charge my phone in the socket that would have been used for the night light. The other thing I didn't like was a large stain on the generally very dirty-looking carpet.

I liked the crisp white bedding.

Room could use a renovation, but price quality it was ok. Room was larger than normal.

Excellent breakfast. Fresh fruit and vegetables, cakes and vanilla pudding. Secure parking allthough parking on the street is also possible..

I could not find cold water to drink

Not very clean. It was clear that the toilet seat and the desk had both not been cleaned much, if at all. The shower head would not stay in the caddy normally, in part because the caddy was broken. You either have to hold it the whole time or squeeze it in at a different part to get it to stay, but then it's at a strange angle. Breakfast is not very good, I skipped it after the first day. One of the flights of stairs had a broken light, which made it dangerous to try to go down the curved steps in the dark.

Bed and desk were fine, wifi was good. Quiet location.

Reception isn't always staffed. The quality of the food & coffee at breakfast wasn't great imho, but okay.

Nice, spacious room. Very clean. Friendly staff at the reception. Comfortable beds with decent pillows. Quiet at night.

This is not their fault, but it can affect your stay: we had a room facing the back yard and at night there was a terrible smell coming from outside.

I booked a single room arriving on a warm day and really appreciated elevator, getting a twin room with airconditioning - not needed much but taking a couple of degrees off was great. Lots of space, fridge and kettle, mainly quiet street in nice area close to centre, supermarket, very good breakfast available 7-11am.

Staff was very friendly, e.g. told us that we only have to pay until 6pm for parking fees outside. Wifi has been excellent; we loved the applestrudel for breakfast where selection was very big

Hotel and the room are really old. To do the check-in and the breakfast you need to walk circa 50 metres in the street. Breakfast was quite sad with the baked goods of the day before. The most annoying thing was a smell in the bathroom which I couldn't understand where was coming from. It was not a "dirty" smell, but it was not possible to make it goes away.
