I believe this is a place for visiting professors to stay as the room had a huge living room with room for lots of people to gather. The bed was very comfortable. My room (102) overlooked the street below but most street noise was eliminated by the double windows. Breakfast is included and was very good. There is no one at the front desk. It is self-check and checkout, which for me was very smooth.

Everything was just great. Brilliant location in the heart of the old town, 1 min away from old town square, great amenities, breakfast. A well maintained heritage property complex.

Elegant interior with common reading room and meeting space. This "hotel" is actually part of Charles University and the rooms are guest rooms for visiting faculty. The University allows tourists to stay when rooms are not otherwise reserved for the needs of the school. Self check-in was automated, clearly explained and quick.

A very original hotel in a perfect location! Everything I wanted to visit is within walking distance. The street is also very nice, filled with shops and amenities, etc. The room was quite big, clean and very confortable. A very original place. I contacted the staff through Booking.com and they answered quickly. The hotel has a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, and many other things you may need during your stay. Also coffee is offered and you can sit down to enjoy it in the living room. The breakfast is simple but contains the necessary nutrients to start the day (eggs, sausage, veggies, yogurt, fruits, bread, etc, etc). No doubt I would come back to this place. I strongly recommend it.

I would have preferred an in person check-in

Single room was spacious & quiet with quality furnishings. In the common area, there was a small kitchenette, where you could borrow dishes, make a cuppa tea, do laundry. You could also spend time in a common lounge with coffee machine, books, chairs. I would have liked to extend my stay, but they were sold out. I only realized how nice this place was after I checked in to my next hotel with a tiny room. Also great communication by phone / email

The facilities in the room were very old, the lightning was bad.

The location is superb. It's very close to all the sights and even most of the clubs if nightlife is part of your plans. Most sights are within walking distance so that makes this location perfect.
