Decor and furniture all in good condition and clean but looking slightly dated style wise but extremely functional.

Large bedrooms, very quiet good location near the heart of the old town. Impressively clean rooms. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

We requested a quiet room, however our room faced the main street, and the noise from vehicles and motorbikes at night was unbearable. It was close to summer, so closing the window to block out the noise meant our room got a little warmer.

One of the highlights was the hotel's central location, which was very convenient and close to most tourist attractions, shops and malls. The breakfast was good but needed more variety. The bathroom was spacious, and we liked that the toilet and shower were separated. We also enjoyed the beer spa; we highly recommend it. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall was excellent, and we liked that there was daily room service.

The cleaning service wasn’t top-notch. They didn’t refill the tea bags each time, so if you use one, you might not get more next day (shame, the tea was so good!). It’s worth bringing your own tea. Additionally, the bedsheets weren’t ironed. It’s not a big deal, but such small details do make a difference. Another inconvenience was that not all floors have a lift. My room was on the 4th floor, which didn’t have lift access, so I had to take the lift to the 3rd floor and then use the stairs.

Great Location, close to bus/tram/tube & old town & supermarket, breakfast (takeaway coffee!), rooms were clean.

Shower every day was a nightmare as water constantly changed from hot to cold regardless of the time you had shower (between 6.00am and 7.00am) so assume everyone else in hotel having showers affected the temperature. Wi-Fi a bit patchy most nights.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very close to centre, close to Hop On Hop Off bus stop, towels changed every day, twin room with enough space to place 2 suitcases out of the way as room had a little foyer type room when walked in, independent air-conditioner for room that actually worked so was great. Had kettle and fridge in room. Bathroom very spacious and shower stall very easy to get in and out of. breakfast was good, big range to decide from. Did not use TV so cannot comment on that. Wi-Fi a bit patchy most nights.

A very small point but would have like standard sized pillows on the bed. The choice was either a huge one not suitable for sleeping or a tiny one!
