Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom was too hot even with air conditioning full blast. Shower was over bath which is okay except bath was very deep and there was no handle to hold to get in and out. I would imagine an older or less mobile person would really struggle. Bar area was very uninviting and closed fairly early so no chance of a nightcap
Hotel was within walking distance to all main attractions but metro was also nearby. Twin room was large and clean. Good breakfast provided

The hotel has an excellent location with the Old Town area in walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a great choice of hot/cold dishes. This was my first time to stay at Grand Majestic Hotel Prague and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Prague.

The fact that our room faced the street. The City of Prague does a great job of preserving historical features of old buildings, and one of those features are the double casement windows with brass handles and new locking hardware. They kill noise when closed, and are easy to open.

ChileWhen we arrived the staff didn't mention anything about rooms location. They should tell us about the second elevator to find the rooms, we have to move the luggage twice around the building. Additionally, one of the rooms smells like smoke after the cleaning, I think someone from the staff may have been smoking there.
The room seems to be old but clean. The hotel is well located, you can go walking to tourist places. Additionally, breakfast was great.

United StatesThe sofa in the living room could have been a little bigger but it was not that bad.
The property is about 5-10 min from any central place, like the astronomical clock. That is a good thing, unless you like the craziness of the crowd. It is quiet, clean, a larger hotel with all the amenities. We had an apartment , as they call it, AC was working ok, one system in the bedroom and another in the living area. Bathroom was good size, with good hot water and pressure. Breakfast was excellent, hot eggs if you want and all other things that usually you can find on a good breakfast buffet, including 3 machines where you can make your desired type of coffee, espresso or capucino.

United StatesIf you need good A/C to sleep this is probably not the place to do it. I had to sleep with no blankets on me every night and I would still wake up in sweat.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was on the smaller side but for me traveling alone, it was perfect. The location was phenomenal and didn't have to uber anywhere. Everything is in walking distance. The staff was really nice and the lobby/bar was gorgeous. The cleaning staff was awesome and even folded my sweaters or shirts that I left out.
