location, location, location. It was close to a metro stop and so what else do you need. But in Prague , the core part is walkable. we used the metro once from the airport. Since friend didnt pack light, having the place close to the metro stop was that much better. breakfast was great and so was the staff.

The staff were loudly discussing personal matters in the corridor, and it could even be heard in the room. During breakfast, the tablecloths were not changed or cleaned properly, instead crumbs were swept by staff onto the floor by hand. I think this is not the level of 5 stars.

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town. Very good location and breakfast is great.

I think the Reception staff could do better with more smiles and more enthusiastic greetings. We had two rooms joined by a door. Only one room has air-conditioning unit, the other without. All drinks in the fridge are payable. I have been to many 5 star hotels, this is the only one I have come across with no complimentary bottle of water. No sign to say if the tap water was drinkable, so we had to resort to bottled water. Also no kettle in the room to boil water.

Spa bath in the room is great! The breakfast selection is fantastic, truly 5 star. Underground train station is a stone throw away. Majority of tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel is a bit dated, but I suppose this blends in well with characteristics and charms of Prague.

No parking, they told me to park in the museum garage which is 15 min away. Think if you take your luggage and walk all this Air-condition unit inside the room make a lot of noise So, if you going there on cold weather and you don't have a car then everything is ok

Noise level. I was able to hear my neighbors through the walls/air vents. I was unable to sleep for the two nights that I was there.

The hotel has Management problems! 1- During 4 days we stayed in this hotel, our minibar refrigerator was out of function. The technician confirmed that, but he didn't repair and didn't replace it with a new or functionable one, because the manager who had the keys of the basement (where there should be spare refrigarators) was missing. The manager seems that was more busy with other more important issues. 2- The cleaning of the room was very superficial and blanket replacement was not regular. Obviously there was not control from the management. 3- The hair-dryer in the bathroom was installed in almost 2 meters height, so you needed to strech up or use a lader to use it. Must have a been a stupid-born technician to install it and an iresponsible manager or superviser to accept that work. 4- The safe showed problems with battery of lock-unlock device, it shouldn't be a big problem (maybe simply replacement of battery) but nobody cared to come and have a look THE LOCATION is EXCELLENT - You can't do or undo it! (and this can sell the hotel for sure), but you should try to improve other things in order to raise up your services at the level this famous, old and respected hotel deserves.

Nothing. It was all excellent.

The location of the hotel was superb and ideal for exploring Prague after a very generous serving of breakfast. The best of three different hotels I have used in Prague in the past 20 years.
