Cozy apartment in small beautiful village, very atmospheric

Dolphin Guest House and Studios is located in the traditional township of Tochni. The rustic stone apartment was roomy and comfortable with cooking facilities with a small balcony over a courtyard with lovely views. The staff were wonderful being friendly & helpful. A pleasant place to return to whilst exploring the sites of this area.

The stay was excelent and we really enjoyed it. The owner is very friendly and always available when we needed something. The apartment is in old stone house which is excelent protection from the heat outside. Also the enviroment is beautiful. Located in a small and quiet village at the foot of hills. It is about 8km from the sea but it is only 15 minutes by car to a wonderful beach called White stones. The beach is with black send but there are rocks from limestone. It is extraordinary. The room had really view on the sea beacause the house is located on a hill. There is also traditional taverna at the village where they prepare food on olive wood. Excelent place to spent family vacation!

It would be nice to have something in the bathroom to hang the towels but overall everything was great for us and exactly what we needed.

The place was perfectly located for us since we planned to visit the entire country with our car. The place is very spacious, with internet and AC, and well equipped kitchen. The hosts were always reachable.

Walking up hill 😁

Wine & water for welcome. There is coffee & tea as well. Nice detail. You have everything you need inside kitchenette. Very good shower. Terrace is not "attached" with apartment No. 3 (where we stay), it's down to the ground floor. Be careful, you have mosquitos outside and ants inside. Don't leave your food out of the fridge. This (apt. 3) is for budget trevelers. Comparing to price is excellent. Hugh is cool.

Nothing negative to say about this place, really. The guest house does not have any reception but the owner is available on the phone (whatsapp) and he always helped us with anything we needed.

The place looks exactly like on the pictures. It is such a nice and quiet place. The house is beautiful just like the rooms. To be honest I cannot understand most of the comments about cleanliness. Our room was perfectly neat and clean (maybe they changed cleaning personnel). Bed was extremely comfortable.

Everything was fine. The only minor remark I would give would be the necessity for a small TV, albeit with the basic national channels at the very least. Even without it though, the place is great and can be considered a home away from home.

This accomodation has a rustic ambience, fitting in nicely with the village it is located in and the surrounding area. It has everything necessary for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Tochni. Will surely be recommending this place to others.

Unfortunately, my review this time is extremely negative. * I travel a lot, and my review is authentic. We arrived for 6 nights, 2 adults with a poodle. first time in Cyprus! We arrived at the place about an hour before time. The access to the apartment is really difficult (long and very steep descent, then many stairs to the apartment). We met the owner of the place, an elderly man, half naked, all sweaty. He just cleaned our apartment. When he let us into the apartment, there was a strong smell of his sweat, and he already said "the weather is pleasant, you don't need to turn on the air conditioner. And if you are hot - turn it on for 10 minutes and turn it off" We passed this strange reception. In the evening there was no hot water, to shower after a flight! We turned to the owner and these are his words: "It was sunny today, you should have hot water." On the second day, we met the owner who lives next door and asked to have hot water for the evening. He argued and insisted that he did not turn on the boiler. We offered him an additional payment (absurd) and he refused. Finally he said that he would turn on a boiler and of course he didn't! We sent him a message and he didn't answer right away - when he answered my phone he started yelling at us "This is not a hotel, don't send me messages at night" Two days later, we sent a message in the morning to turn on the boiler (we are participating in a running competition with the dogs), the message was ignored. We sent a message again and then we received shouts and he said "1. Don't contact me at late hours! 2. These are my conditions, if it doesn't suit you then leave and I'll refund your money" The next day we went to Booking for customer service, the answer we received after checking with the owner: "The owner of the place claims that we make commercial use of water and electricity because we came to the exhibition with the dog.

The place can be great for people with excellent physical fitness, a great place for people who don't like to shower, a great place for people who like to be yelled at and treated unpleasantly, a great place for people who don't care about cleanliness.
