Would have been useful to have had more information about the hotel and the surroundings and services without having to ask everything.

Location is excellent. Facilities are generally good. Excellent room with beach and sea views. Breakfast was good.

It is a shame that the times for the free shuttle bus to the airport (on its way to the city) does not tie in with the international flight to Lisbon. This meant we had to pay for a taxi to come all the way from the city to take us the 5 minutes to the airport. Given the proximity of the hotel to the airport the shuttle should be provided for the few flights.

Well located for the airport and the beach, which was our reason for staying here. Room was spacious and comfortable with a good size balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The swimming pools were lovely, though in need of a little bit of maintenance. The new beach bar/restaurant just outside the hotel on the beach is handy and really good. The beach is a dream to walk along, though in January the currents are a bit too strong for swimming.

Some things a little bit rundown. Window shutter holdback missing, toilet cistern was not filling, ballcock sticky on another. Has a tennis court, but no tennis balls.

Bit surprised we were given a 4 bedroom villa with 3 bathrooms. Was expecting a 2 bedroom one. Great location for the airport, and a taxi ride away from Mindelo. Just fine for us as we were only there for one night before flying out. 2 swimming pools, although one is for children only as very shallow. Very quiet when we stayed 28/12 - which suited us, but was told it was fully booked for New year.

Pool area is nice but pool water should need more maintenance. It has potential to be better Hotel rooms are a little outdated. Could do with minor touch ups but kept basic as they are nice spacious rooms

Many of the facilities were closed when we were there in August. Don't know if it was low season, in fact the hotel looked pretty empty. The rooms and bathrooms weren't very clean

Had dinner in the restaurant - only one choice that evening: a buffet of rice, beans, collard greens, and cheap commercial fries, with a selection of primarily inexpensive meats brought on skewers. Dessert included in the price was a skinny slice of pineapple served on the same dish as main meal, as waiter refused to bring a clean plate. Meal not worth the money. (Since a food festival was taking place in the main town nearby, other restaurants were closed, so we had no choice.)

There was no warm water in our room.

Very close to the airport, we walked there. The hotel operates a free transfer to the airport and to Mindelo. It is on the seaside, with beautiful garden. The restaurant is very nice and offers a good breakfast. There is a fridge in the room.

Everything is a little out dated. Wifi didn’t reach our room. Only buffet available for dinner, we were unable to order from the daily menu.

Great value for money. The pool area was lovely and there is a tennis court. Good food options for lunch. Very close to airport so very handy for flight delays etc. We were checking out before breakfast and they brought it to our room the night before so we could bring it with us.

Beds were not very comfortable, staff did not seem very happy (suspect this was not their fault but an issue with management), shuttle to the airport was late.

Restaurant was quite good, nice breakfast with fresh breads and fruit. We had an excellent Valentine’s Day dinner there, well done!

The hotel is in need of an upgrade, outdoor furnishings/poolside furniture old. Restaurant lighting for indoor dining not good, would be nice to dine outside in the beautiful weather. No taxi service and to call a taxi from Mindelo to airport, costs the same ! Hotel management should make an arrangement.

The location on the beach was good. I could tell that at one time, the hotel would have been very popular and luxurious.

Rooms on second floor did not have good views and we asked to change to third floor but only one ( out of three) was able to do this. Staff seemed lost when asked to do anything, which was different to all other places where we stayed in Cape Verde.

The handle of the entrance door was broken, as was the toilet seat, ants in the shower and a smell of cat piss throughout the room, I didn't say anything to the reception because we only stayed one night, let's say that the resort could definitely called "salty decadence"....the only positive note was the proximity to the San Andrè bistro-bar restaurant.

It is a big resort close to the airport on Sao Vicente. I liked it a lot more than some other reviews suggest. It was clean, rooms were spacious and staff was friendly. You can actually walk to the airport (about 15-20 minutes). They also have shuttles to Mindelo throughout the day.
