This is a cute little hotel with a lovely pool and a 10-minute walk to a quiet black sand beach. Rooms are very clean, and there are nice common areas . Breakfast is good and the staff are kind and helpful.

This is a hidden gem of a place and the pictures/online presence do not do it justice. Very friendly staff, robust breakfast, quiet and interesting space once you're inside/on property...a little mini-oasis, and just a quick drive or walk down to the beach. I would stay here again coming or going from the Liberia airport in a heartbeat.

Very clean and cute place within walking distance of a beautiful beach and very short drive to Coco. Excellent breakfast, and the staff is amazing. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Beautiful stay and hope to be back!

I was concerned because I had booked the rooms for the group and the price was so good. It was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were small but very clean. The hotel was a short walk to the beach. It was about a 1/2 hour from Liberia airport so it was a good way to still have a bit of a day when we arrived in C.R. There was a decent restaurant on the beach with a good samba band. Breakfast was good. We were happy with the choice.

Of all the places we stayed, this was not the best value for money, but for the area it met our needs.

This property is gated - they give you a remote control for the gate when you check in. Our breakfast was cooked to order. The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms.

Water pressure was low for shower...but no big deal. Very tricky to locate the entrance located on a bend on a busy road.

A beautiful collection of buildings nestled on a hillside. Everything seems to have been upgraded. The decor is very modern. Nice small pool. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. There is a great restaurant located on the beach just down the road. Very close to Coco as well.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The space was very nice with landscaping, decorations, nice pool and Very nice breakfast area - that is great for eating, relaxing, and also for working on their wifi. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. With great suggestions and knowledge of the area - we enjoyed wonderful dinners. We highly recommend staying here. The rooms are small. It is a simple place - not 5 star resort - but we prefer the smaller quaint places. This is tops for that.

In the middle of nowhere! (Cannot walk to the grocery store/restaurants - need a car)

The place is spectacular! It is a well maintained property with an excellent location to the beaches. Just over a hill you have an incredible view of Playa Ocotal. 100% recommended.

The wifi was a little spotty but we stayed for a whole week and only had issues one of the days we were there!

Such a sweet little hotel! The ladies there making breakfast and giving us recommendations were so lovely and welcoming. I would recommend anyone looking for a little budget-friendly place right near the beach to stay here!

Walking distance from Ocotal beach, the hotel is really quiet. Rooms are spacious and very well maintained, and the inner courtyard is enjoyable to hang out in at dawn, listening to and/or watching morning birds. Staff is very nice. They realised I wanted to practice my Spanish so they were very patient with me (while they speak fluent English). Breakfast is tasty. Would come back.

A little noisy with street traffic, but did not affect my sleep.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable with air conditioning. Beautiful covered outdoor seating area for included breakfast. Food was delicious! Eggs and beans with rice and fruit, cheese, bread, cereal, orange juice, etc. Lovely outdoor pool. In-room mini refrigerator. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap all in private shower. Short walk (but very hilly) to Ocotal Beach for a gorgeous sunset!

The beds weren't too bad for Costa Rica and for the price.

Good location, super friendly staff, nice pool. There is a communal kitchen that is very handy. I had to get up really early for fishing and they had the coffee pot ready and a little breakfast ready for me! Marcela and her staff were fantastic. We'll be back for sure when going to Ocotal! Great value!

Very friendly and welcoming. It's located in a quiet area. Small beach within walking distance. Rooms are very nice. Very comfortable bedding, mini fridge, hot water, cold AC. Good breakfast cooked to order and coffee. Nice pool. Secure parking. El Coco is a few minutes' drive away. Overall, it is a very good value.
