WiFi never worked in our unit. It worked closer to the main check in and restaurant. Our mobile signal did not work in our hotel room either but I can't blame the hotel for that.

We stayed in bungalow #3. It was fantastic! We are 2 adults and 3 children. I believe it was the largest building in the complex. It came with a little kitchen. We liked the space and beds. It was very spacious and well decorated. It was came with a mini fridge. Staff were friendly. The grounds were beautiful. We took the frog night tour and saw plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff helped us book some wildlife watching walking tours (which were really good). Wildlife on site was phenomenal. Lovely walks around the site with plenty of places to sit and watch the wildlife and birds. Close enough to town to go out for dinner. Sleeping in a jungle.. an experience in itself.

This was the best and most amazing place I ever stayed !! The little house was very cute, middle of the jungle, fully with the animals ! The people where so friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the property was delicious and the night walk we did there was incredible. Loved it and already miss it

Excellent breakfast with choices, excellent restaurant and front desk staff- very welcoming and knowledgeable about the reserve. Nice trail system to view wildlife, beautiful property - quiet. Monkeys and sloth were a bonus!! Great night tour!

I love the location about 5-10 min car ride to the center. So away from the busy town and in the middle of the jungle. There is a small trail you can walk by yourself around the lodge. You need definitely a car. Breakfast is okay too.

Beautiful, good quality lodges located in the middle of the jungle. Stunning nature. Obviously no chance to have a good night sleep with monkeys jumping on the roof at night, priceless. :) Nice breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Strongly recommended!

No tea or coffee in the room.

The forest surround with howler monkeys and numerous birds made this an exceptional location. It wasn't always quiet ( because of the cicades and monkeys and birds in the morning,) but it was magical seeing the lightening bugs. Eating breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was a treat, overlooking the birds feeding on fruit. I have lots of photos of elephants and swans too... made from towels by the kind cleaning ladies.

What a charming resort/nature preserve in a very good location within La Fortuna area. The restaurant was fabulous and the free breakfast was top notch. The attached nature walk area was great. The staff helped guide us to the best local tours and made the reservations for us. Don't miss the Northfields Coffee/Chocolate tour. The value was very good as well.

Nothing that can be done about it, but some animals can be noisy at night. And it is very humid

The location, the noises of the animals, the ambiance is a bit surreal as soon as you enter the property. We spotted many monkeys and birds without leaving the front porch. The porch was also the perfect spot to read a book and enjoy all the green surrounding you. It is super quick to get anywhere if you have a car

Creaking noise from the beds in cottage #9. Fan also made some noise.

You get the feeling of being inside a dense jungle, the minute you turn off the road. The sounds are just so relaxing. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good, and staying close to the trails is nice and convenient. Cottages could be a bit farther apart may be. But for the price, can't complain.

Perfect location for nature lovers! The restaurant was amazing with delicious food and good prices. I loved how the folded our towels every day! Definitely will revisit!

We loved the beautiful surroundings and how everything was so clean. People were really friendly:) we loved the restaurant and the servers. The cabin was cute but the lighting in the bathroom was really bad. The mattresses where ok and there where some opening from the logs and door where insects could enter. But overall we really liked it and would come back again:)

Great location out of town. Perfect for nature. Loved being surrounded by wildlife and being woken by howler monkeys. We even had a resident sloth! Lovely cabins - very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Views of wildlife were exceptional. The property maintains forest that is part of a corridor to the larger protected forest on the volcano well as gardens and water features, all which serve to support high biodiversity. It’s a gem for any nature lover.

Great base to explore the area of the Arenal volcano. The wooden cabins were charming and rather comfortable. The breakfast with view on coloured birds was incredible

The bathroom was a bit outdated.

Very private and cute house, with a little patio. The restaurant is good and the best option in the area (which is very touristy!) bonus: it has a lot of birds visiting!

Some repairs to the bungalow could be made, but the rustic nature of the room did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay. There are so many positives that it wasn't an issue for me, the value was great.

The staff was amazing, the grounds were beautiful and location was convenient. I know this may seem trivial, bet the water pressure in the shower was perfect. I've had stays diminished by poor showers in the past, a good shower is very important to me.

Little ants were all over spare bed I understand it's the rain forest but maybe some kind of pest.control for in the cabins at least
