“Best Hostel in Pavones !!!
All the staff is amazing and very friendly. The room is confortable, well furnished and the bathroom is quite big with hot water 😀. We met so many great peoples during our 10 days stay at Esperanza. Sharing the well furnished kitchen with them was also always a good moment with them.
The Hostel is at 3 minutes by foot to the spot of Pavones. You could rent some surfboard also at the Hostel.
Bonus : there were 3 little cute puppies dogs, 2 dogs and one cat. So if you are a pet lover this place is heaven.

“Great gardens that made the units seem secluded. I love the outdoor shower. Huge communal kitchen, each unit gets its own shelf in a fridge (a very nice touch). Surfboards are available for rent onsite, and it's only a short walk to the beach.”

“This was the most expensive accommodation we booked on our trip this time to CR.
We booked this property months prior to going and had received a free upgrade through booking.com so we were looking forward to the deluxe bungalows that boasted outside showers and ocean views. It was to be the highlight of our trip and the last place the 4 of us were to be together before travelling home. The room upgrade didn't happen, and when asked the staff were dismissive, with no apology or explanation and suggested I took my complaint to booking.com. As you can imagine, this was really disappointing.
On the positive side, the place itself is in a beautiful setting with glimpses of the sea from our rooms. The bird and wildlife are wonderful and the grounds extensive to wander around. The sea is a 20 minute walk away and well worth the trek back up the hill.”
