All the staff were great. We arrived after 24+ hours travel, and they let us check in early, which was great, we were exhausted. The room was great. The weather was against us, which frankly was ok (!) because we could justify catching up on some rest without feeling guilty about not fulfilling our touristy duties! I had a bit of a query about the valet parking when we checked out, but the front staff were professional and fixed it up quickly. (And the valet parking was well done. It ain't cheap, and I don't know if you can do better/cheaper but we were happy to use this option.) The staff in the bar were the friendliest people on the planet. Great position in downtown Houston.

Clean, spacious, nice lobby and bar area and proximity to the station made it very easy to pop into Denver to see friends. Simple takeaway breakfast and coffee was available super early for those heading to the airport before actual breakfast service. The young woman on reception overnight (7-8 April) was professional, efficient and clearly took pride in giving great customer experience.

The staff on check-in were rude, inappropriately dressed and unprofessional, barely even acknowledging our existence. After check-out I contacted the hotel twice about a very sentimental and expensive perfume I left on the table in our room and was completely ignored. It was from my wedding day and I was on my honeymoon. I don’t mind that hopefully a cleaner gets to enjoy it, but a response of any kind would have been nice.

Checking in and out was easy. Front staff nice.

Breakfast. Some equipment not working. No pastries. Coffee was ok. Also hdmi cable to TV did not work. No TV or air con in the exercise room.

The sofa bed is a huge disappointment. You can feel the coils and springs on your back. Need immediate renewal. Otherwise,add a simple comfy bed.

very noisy airconditioner turning on/off all night, uncomfortable pillows, no alternative pillows, husband had terrible night's sleep x3, I wore ear plugs which helped with the noisy aircon
