Loved the location. About 2 blocks from the centre, as a female travelling alone, I felt safe walking these streets. There are also cafes and little restaurants nearby. You can purchase breakfast on site for about 15 sols, and there is a lovely little courtyard to relax in and try a local beer. The best experience, though, was Juan. He kept in contact with me all the way. After reading previous comments, I booked Juan for his tours and managed to fit most of what Nazca has to offer in 2 days. He is a registered tour guide and has a comfortable 4wd to explore the tours, which are often on unsealed roads. I felt blessed to experience all that I did in such a short time.

A really nice hotel very close to everything important in Puno. The staff is very accommodating, the wifi works fine and there's hot water (not always available in Peru). They even brought us a heater for the room, as the winter nights in Puno tend to be quite cold.
Negative section of review
The only downside is the cold - as we travelled in June, the room gets pretty cold at night. Luckily there was no problem getting a heater for the room.

Such friendly and welcoming staff. Answered any questions we had. They were able to accommodate us at very last minute after a terrible experience at another property. When i come back to Cusco I will be staying here!! Thanks so much :)

The location was great, close to shopping which was a bonus. The breakfast and dinner was good, and although the rooms do need a bit of updating they were spacious and well set out. Would recommend and would stay again.

Ordered taxi through the hotel for the airport, was not well organised. It did stress os out a bit with how many times we had check.

The location was perfect. The attention from staff was exceptional.

Needed to leave before 6am. Although they had made me a breakfast box, I had to pay 10 sols for the smallest coffee from a machine. I think this should be provided at no cost if leaving before breakfast is served.
