The breakfast was lovely, hotel was clean, well decorated and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. I don’t remember the names, but the lady from Michigan USA was very friendly and informative. The Norwegian ladies on the desk in the morning were also wonderful. Thank you!

This is not particularly the fault of the Hotel, but the noise from cars in the area was crazy. There were a lot of people revving their engines overnight - extremely inconsiderate. I suspect that this was people visiting the McDonald’s next to the hotel.

Stylish, great location close to Central Oslo, excellent value for money. There are also a lot of local businesses where you can get food and drinks.

The lady on reception in the evening was a bit abrupt and not very approachable. It seemed like we were an inconvenience to her. Would not give us a pillow despite me only having a small cushion. Not very welcoming. However, the young man at reception in the morning of the 22nd was much more approachable and helpful. Walls were very thin so I got woken up by other guests leaving.

Very good selection of al types of food.The only down side was hot food was cooling and was only warm and made cooler by cold plates.

We booked a restaurant meal.The choices were not to everyones liking as one of my family only likes basic meals.Thank fully that was helped by the provision of a steak and chips.Not everyone who visits would choose chef specials.Again 3 of us chose Bouillabaise.summing that up it was awful.it is a soup and one of our party ate it with a knife and fork.it was not a nicely blended plate with taste of Cod,shrimps and cold mussels on or beside a bed of tomato mixture(NOT SOUP).It ruined what should have been a delight.

The Receptionist was quite indifferent & impolite, who was chatting on the phone for at least 15 mins before she’s able to do the check-in for us; and, there’s normally only one staff at the Reception. We stayed for 3 nights incl. 1 Saturday, however the Receptionist did not inform that the breakfast won’t start until 8am during the weekends!! We had a guided tour to Naroyfjorden starting from 8am, if we were informed in advance, we’ll prepare the breakfast on the previous day so that we didn’t have to leave hotel for a long journey with hunger - hope the Receptionist can be more considerate + professional going forward!!! Room facility is quite basic, definitely not up to the criteria of a 5-star hotel; btw, you have to use the gym of their so-called “sister hotel” a few hundreds metres away.

- Small room with noicy surronding, specially from tram. - There was no safe, no coffee kettle, no Cupboard and no glass for drinking even. - An old fashioned bathroom where water spilling out everywhere. - One of their staff (cleaning worker) was impolite.
