This is a very charming hotel right on the waterfront. We stayed in the main house which has rooms which bring you back into typical Norwegian style. Staff was very friendly. The dinner and the breakfast were very nice and the shared living room and bar are quite cosy. From the house and the rooms you have very nice views on the surroundings. Around the house you can sit in the garden and enjoy the views on the water and the mountains.

Friendly, helpful staff. They were very helpful and accommodating with our cycles. Great food for breakfast and evening meal. Room clean and spacious. Shower screen problem was resolved by the staff promptly and sympathetically to our satisfaction.

The room was small but adequate for our needs. Was neat and clean, the en-suite was great. The kitchen facilities were excellent, everything you need. Location was close to all sights as well as bus and train stations. Very quiet Would go back again

I do think they could put more chairs in the kitchen and maybe a bigger table. There is only 2 chairs so if a number of people are eating, nowhere to sit.

It was good, in front of a beautiful and peaceful lake. There were supermarkets and restaurants in front of it. The rooms were clean and had more amenities compared to other hotels that i have stayed in norway so far.

Some renovation would do wonders to the property. Especially changing of the carpet it. looked old.

Absolutely everything. Owners are very welcoming. Very clean. The view. The interior. attention to the details (very tasty coffee, calm music meeting the guests). good furniture, well equipted. Netflix.

Well located and well priced with easy parking in front.

Room wasn’t very clean, beds were old and uncomfortable, and it got very hot due to the sun shining directly into the room, but not possible to open window due to noise (ferry and gulls).

Building and furniture looks tired and run down . Looks like building work is in process at present as the yard is full of rubbish . I nearly fell tripping over the outer metal gate of the property and saw a few people doing the same arriving in the later hours when light is not 100% . Warning signs would have helped . Not very clean toilet and shower facilities . No sound isolation at all . You can hear people in the room next door walking/ talking which is not ideal
