Staff are incredibly polite, multilingual, helpful, responsive- I can't say enough good about the staff. The design is cool and interesting, and the beds are massive. Location adjacent to Blaak metro station and Markthal is excellent.
Negative section of review
The best staff in the world can't overcome this hotel's ineffective air conditioning. Windows are fixed, no balconies and no outdoor space of any kind, and it was STIFLINGLY hot. I don't mean "warm." I'd guess on entry that the lobby, which is floor-to-ceiling, south-facing windows- was 32 degrees. Celsius. Unbearable. I was assured that AC in the rooms was working and...not really. I set my thermostat to its lowest setting and fan at highest, and I couldn't sleep because I was sweating. Windows are fixed and this was simply a nightmare. The problem resolved on the last 4 nights of my 6-night stay, not because the AC was repaired but because the weather became cool and cloudy. I don't like AC in general, but with fixed windows and warm (not hot, warm, about 26c) temperatures AC is an absolute necessity. I think the hotel should close until this is rectified- I get really bad for the staff who had to work entire shifts in this sauna.

Modern and light. Comfortable beds and very nice breakfast area on the 5th floor. A plus for the vegan yogurt and milk options. Extreme friendly staff.

Comfortable and clean room. One bus stop away from Schiphol airport. Friendly staff at reception and at the bar.

We had to ask twice for bedding to be placed on the sofabed. There is a kettle in the room with espresso sized cups, I went downstairs to get bigger cups to make tea, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night at this hotel/

Great place in the center of Noordwijk, nice large apartment, well equipped, comfortable and clean.
Negative section of review
Only a few minor issues, e.g., a broken light switch and toilet paper holder. There was a noise heard from an appartment next to ours on one evening (but fortunately they got quiet before we went to bed at about 11pm). It was also uncomfortable that we couldn't store our luggage there after the check out time at 10am on the day we left (as our flight was in the evening), but we were able to manage it.

The checkout was really a mess - and still not closed today. That is the only reason for my staff rating (and, of course, only applicable to those who handled the checkout; unfortunately, everyone else's friendliness was completely obliterated by their lack of professionalism). Apart from this, it should also be highlighted that the difficulty of use, lack of quality and inaccuracy of the information system, which were very evident, did not help...

Absolutely same poor breakfast every day. Very limited choice of food. Could be better. There is no fridge and safe box in the room. It is stuffy in the room due to the inability to open the window for ventilation.

Breakfast messy, buffet area too small and too crowded. Ordering food took way too long. Dinner well below par. Limited choice. Not well prepared, no taste. Place clearly not suited for business travellers Way too expensive for quality and services offered.
