I liked everything about this 'lodge'. The manager/owner, Cheah (sp?) was very helpful to give me a little history lesson and info on where to go and what to do that wasn't in the guide books. I was given a Markers map of the city with a full handwritten listing of where to go for specialty/great food! Enjoyed several of their choices! The room was relatively small, but clean and easy to move around. The space behind the reception desk was especially nice - for chatting/discussing, relaxing a bit. Lovely carrot cake too! It was delightful to have a lemongrass tea with a little 'treat' each evening, delivered to my door!
