I liked everything about this 'lodge'. The manager/owner, Cheah (sp?) was very helpful to give me a little history lesson and info on where to go and what to do that wasn't in the guide books. I was given a Markers map of the city with a full handwritten listing of where to go for specialty/great food! Enjoyed several of their choices! The room was relatively small, but clean and easy to move around. The space behind the reception desk was especially nice - for chatting/discussing, relaxing a bit. Lovely carrot cake too! It was delightful to have a lemongrass tea with a little 'treat' each evening, delivered to my door!

It was a good sized apartment and very clean. There was a washing machine with detergent and a drying area. The bathroom was big and a good shower. There were two big beds, which were comfortable. There were complimentary snacks and coffee, and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was big and an amazing view over the river. The check in was easy and clear instructions. There's a great little restaurant on the corner opposite which does good coffee and breakfast. It's about 15 minutes walk into the town, but getting a Grab is easy and cheap.

The experience was fantastic! Everything from the extensive game options to the comfort of the facilities, and the brand new BBQ equipment made my stay truly enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

In the room 1- mattress is hard , as is the 2 pillows on the bed 2- the blanket was thin 3- there was only one working plug pony 4- furniture is worn out - tearing / with holes 5- the carpet is sticky 6- no soap/ shampoo etc for the price 7- hot water doesn’t work well The overall 1- location is odd - had to take back roads 2- unhelpful receptionist 3- horrible parking system due to lack of signage 4- no basic eateries near by 5- neighborhood is a little seedy at night .. I saw a man strip his pants to take a pee at the side of the road - right after dusk
