Positive section of review
I felt like at home. From the first minute was feeling that I just I've lived there for long and before leaving there was not feel the vacation ended. The first time I felt this way in any other place than my home. Everything was so cozy. And it looked the cleanliness was visible in reality, all surfaces shined. It is hard to explain that impression. That was a wonderful experience.

Common areas were beautiful and staff were nice. Also kids got their own package (with free welcome drinks and with stickers etc things to do), very nice surprise! The bed was ok and very big and room overall quiet. Hotel is located beautifully next to the river with the views to Riga old town.

The room was totally outdated, the spa didn’t include either and was very pricey. We found some previous visitors’ stuff (cotton pads) under the bed, otherwise the room was clean. The bedroom was way too hot for sleep despite the aircon which didn’t blow any air there. The ironing board was a huge drap, my young son hurt his finger as it dropped down like a giljotin. It also dropped while I was ironing but luckily no one hurt that time despite the hot iron… Hairdryer must have been there back from the Soviet time, wind is drying my hair faster as that machine is just overheating and nothing else. Shower was spilling the water all over the place, the sofa bed (for kids) was making such a horrible noice when some one was moving a bit and the curtains were very worn, it was impossible to get the room dark. I would have excepted a bit more from Radisson.

The hotel is centrally located. We went to Daugavpils for tourism, therefore to discover the city centre, it was perfect. The hotel has own parking places for free, although in limited number. I would emphasize the bed, which was super comfortable.
Negative section of review
First of all, the staff: not very kind or communicative (even a smile can sometimes help the guest to feel better). The room was on the 8th floor. From the early evening hours music from the 10th floor could be heard. Later, we could clearly hear the noise and music of the people organisig drift and acceleration competition in the public parking in front. This means that the windows are not sound-proof at all. The room wasn't dirty but should definitely be renovated and the stains from the sofa and carpet removed.

The location was great. Room was fine, but not as I expected from pictures. Getting keys was simple, but it was not clear about how to do it - you need to go inside and there is person on right that gives you keys.

Kitchen was not inside apartment, and it was shared with other people. It can get a bit loud from outside and hallway, but luckily there is only one other room, so not that many people walking past.

Very good value for money. Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast also was very good value for what we paid. We asked them to prepare porridge for breakfast and they did.
