Great location. Small room, but with all you need, including safe, fridge (with complementary water and beverages), coffee machine. Modern furniture, soundproof. Comfy bed. We also had a small terrace. It is in between 2 building so you do not get a view but it was neat, with a table and chair, and one day we enjoyed sandwiches there, away from the crowds, and it was very relaxing. Note: we were staying at the annex, like 100 meters or so from main property. It is basically 5 (or 6?) rooms carved out of what must have been a good size apartment on the first floor of the building. Very happy with it.

Person who checked us in was professional and efficient, l but very "mechanical", as if going through a script, eschewing any attempt at making small talks. Was a little perplexed, especially this being the first contact with the property, but as soon as were shown the room we loved it and forgot all about it, so just bear with that first encounter, maybe it was a bad day or someone not inclined to interact with people.

Absolutely stunning view. We booked last minute and when we arrived were shown to our room and then offered to view an upgraded room for only 20EU. It was top floor, corner room with a spectacular balcony overlooking the piazza. The service was the best I’ve ever had. We got lost trying to find the parking and we called for directions. They stayed on the phone and guided us turn by turn for 10 minutes.

The property was very neat and clean very difficult to find took my wife 3 1/2 hours to find this may be a normal situation in Venice. Although the owner did show up and apologize for all the difficulties that we had and some of the damages that were not corrected at the property he was a great assistance of getting us a taxi ride to the airport at 2 o’clock in the morning.

The showerhead was broke. The TV did not work the entire time we were there we could not get in contact by phone or email with the property owner until they finally came to get on what’s up line every time we try to call their phone it would not ring they tried to call us and could not get through, very unusual. The only thing that I was disappointed in is, they knew there were things that they were responsible for offered no type of reimbursement or discount. My wife and I are in our early 60s. We’re also not made to Wear the fact this place was four stories of carrying that luggage staircases, which of course there is no elevators in Venice, but it would’ve been nice to know that to begin with that. We were on a fourth story. They were very kind people were apologetic, but I do feel like we paid an extreme amount of money and got less than I felt we should’ve gotten for what we paid.
San Gimignano, Italy

Authentic farm stay close to San Gimignano. The owner, Mario makes his own wine and olive oil. He gave us a bottle of each when we arrived. Very quiet and away from the crazy tourist places but they are reachable by car. A place to appreciate the Tuscan countryside !

Loved this hotel! Spectacular rooms, comfortable beds with a gorgeous bathroom and a soaking tub. Balcony looks out on the water-this is a gem! Staff extremely helpful!
