Fantastic little house, exactly as described and pictured. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm, well furnished, high quality linens, really fantastic. Everything you need for your stay. It was fine for me, but to note, the bedroom is up some steep stairs (clearly shown in the pictures), and these could be too much for people with limited mobility. I loved the feeling of climbing into the loft to go to a very, very comfortable bed! I loved the location, fantastic for visiting the Westfjords and for Hornstrandir.

I booked this accommodation at the very last minute due to bad weather cancelling ferries out to my planned destination. Communications were great, and the host was incredibly gracious and accommodating. The apartment is well furnished, very comfortable, and a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights to visit the Selfoss area and the Golden Circle. It is in a quiet location but, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. It's close enough to Egilsstadir for the convenience, but is surrounded by nature, overlooking the lake. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, view was amazing. The hotel has a hot tub overlooking the lake as well. Really thoughtfully laid out and designed. The staff were amazing. Dinner was really high quality, and breakfast was the same. I would stay again next time I visit this part of Iceland!

Great location with sweeping views over amazing landscape. Cabin is comfortable, well located and well furnished and appointed. Everything you need for your stay. Weather was terrible the night I stayed, but didn't hear or feel a thing; was able to sit in the comfort and warm and watch it snowing outside in a gale. Cozy, and a great feeling. Super clean, well designed, easy to check in / out and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. Well furnished / appointed with everything you need for your stay. Small but well designed so it's comfortable and functional. Great views from the cabin, feels like it is the middle of nature, but with great access to some of the best of what north Iceland has to offer nearby.

Amazing location overlooking Kirkjufell in Snaefellsness, with beautiful views. Well furnished, well appointed cabins. Very comfortable and with everything you need for your stay. Fantastic location to spend time in Snaefellsness. Would stay here again.

It's a pretty standard big hostel experience. The self-check in afterhours was sufficient albeit impersonal, the common areas looked quite big though I didn't use, rooms were clean and bathrooms/showers were clean.

When I checked in there was a staff member at the desk and she basically just told me to follow the instructions on the email for self-check in, which were just the room number and code for the lock It's much nicer when someone takes the time to welcome you and let you know where everything is. Also, they don't put the bedding on the beds for you so you have to put on the pillow case, fitted bed sheet, and duvet cover on by yourself. Imagine getting into the hostel at 11pm, having a top bunk with everyone else sleeping, being tired from driving all day and having to fumble putting on all the linens with just the light from your phone's flashlight because you don't want to turn on the lights to wake everyone up. It's just better if the hostel does it for you so it's more comfortable for everyone. Also, they didn't provide a towel either which I'm sure you could've paid for but just speaks to how bare minimum the hostel experience is.

Jonas was an absolutely great host who always made sure I was comfortable in my stay. The guesthouse is modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. Great location in Talknafjordur. Common area was very nice.

The soundproofing was kind of brutal, as was every place I stayed at in Iceland. You can hear every other guest opening, closing, locking doors, walking thru hallways, etc. and if you're a light sleeper like me you'll have problems even with earplugs.
