Nice helpful staff, check in and check out was very straight forward. Had parking out back. Breakfast was very tasty. Room and bathroom was small but we were up for a nite out so all we wanted was somewhere to sleep so it did the job. Place was clean and beds were comfy. Location not bad, taxi cost us €10 on the way into town and €6.50 on the way home (considering traffic)

Not much I could say here other than the room is a bit small if you were planning spending some time in it, but fine for somewhere to sleep at night

Was greeted with the most wonderful reception staff..made feel very welcome. Room was immaculately clean with a mini fridge with chilled water on arrival...food in the bar was fantastic again staff so friendly and helpful. The small pet farm with wonderful animals really added to the stay

Amazing castle with a great history. Really informative excursion into the castle and beautiful rooms. Breakfast was so delicious. Can’t wait to come back again to this wonderful hotel.

During two days the shower was cold, we tried to take a shower in both mornings and evenings and got always cold water.

There was no space to hang your towels in the bathroom, the bathroom door could only be closed when locked, no way to lock the room door from the inside, there is hardly any control over the AC

Shower was appalling, small, a normal sized person barely fits. Instructions for hot water were incomplete, I was scalded by water, then freezing cold. Kitchen is very basic, fishing shack standard. Back door did not close. No privacy from the street, blind is either up or down. Uncomfortable lounge, no dining table or chairs, just high stools at a bench. Massively overpriced.

Our bedroom was beside a linen room. We were both woken at 8am by staff talking loudly and banging as they loaded up linen trolleys. There was no effort made to keep the noise down. This was very frustrating as we had purposely not booked a breakfast in favour of a sleep in.
