The location is great - short walk to the metro and from there the Dubai mall is easily accessible. They also ran a shuttle bus to the Mall. The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The location was great for where I wanted to go - Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. The rooftop pool area was very pleasant.

One evening about 9.30pm someone tried to open my door to apparently tidy up the bathroom etc. I reported it to reception staff in the morning as I thought that was unnecessary and initially didn't know who was trying to get in my room. It was explained to me that the room hadn't been cleaned earlier in the day so staff were checking that it was clean. It was very late to be doing that and unsettling for me. Because I was arriving early in the morning I tried to book an early checkin on a pro-rata basis however I was told by email on a number of occasions that I couldn't pre-book this but had to wait until I arrived at the hotel to see if there was availability. As I really wanted an early checkin I had to book an additional night. Perhaps the hotel can review this policy and be a little more flexible.

The rooms were not soundproof, we heard the next-door occupants talking throughout the night, disturbing our night rest, which we were looking forward to and which did not improve even after complaints. Even though we complained to the manager while checking out (who assured he would send an email), we have not received anything till date, which shows they do not care for their guests
