United StatesThere was no WIFI for two days, and my anxiety was through the roof. I couldn't get any work done to enjoy my vacation. WIFI was not available until the third day. I was able to complete work and enjoy my vacation. When they say Latinos are late, believe it. So, if you have to be at the airport early, add 30 minutes to your pick up time. If you want to be picked up at 9:00, say 8:30.
Before booking my reservation, I read most of the negative and low-rated reviews. Here is an update. Luxè Cabaña will ensure you arrive safely at their location by connecting you with transportation from the area. For those who are new to Colombia, yes, you can find cheaper transportation. However, having a sense of security when dealing with the hotel’s trusted connections is the way to go unless you know of someone. Their driver, Jorge, was more than excellent. His customer service was over and beyond, ensuring I could get what I needed before reaching my destination. Yes, the road in this location in the mountains is bumpy, not the main roads, just the one up to The Cabaña. People, it’s like that with the majority of the cabins in the mountains. I find it part of the great experience before reaching this beautiful and extravagant cabaña in the mountains overlooking the waters. People, this place is fantastic. It is breathtaking. The expansive wall-to-wall windows do not cheat the views from the living and each bedroom, so you don’t miss out on scenic scenery. The cabaña does not have A/C; once you open the sliding glass door and windows, the natural air gives the needed relaxed cooling sensation. At night, cover up because it gets cold. There is a complimentary service where someone will light up the fireplace on the balcony deck. Make sure to have WhatsApp because that is the best way to communicate with the front desk and concierge service. I mainly communicated with Santiago, who ensured my stay was terrific. Santiago got me what I needed whenever I made my request. He reserved my Tuk-Tuk so that I could enjoy the Guatapè Central Commercial area, and visiting La Piedra was a fantastic experience.

United StatesDo not book in this platform if you are trying to get access to the hotel amenities which is not specifically explained here or anywhere. Apparently there is Luxe by Charlie and Luxe by Marriott- this is not clear online. The hotel on the top of the mountain is newer and has updated amenities such gym and endless pool. The Cabañas are great but you can’t park your car in front. Roads to access both sides of luxe are partially undone as well as among cabins.
We loved the location and the views. We loved the way customer service handled themselves through my complains related to the hotel versus cabins stays.

United StatesI did not like the fact that we were charged “tax” upon arrival and neither booking or luxe by charlee advised us of this before. I also did not like the fact that we had to wait for the little drivers in the golf cart to go from place to place… I stayed 1 night and after breakfast, I asked to be taken to the room to change …. The driver took 20 minutes to pick me up from the restaurant and it was over an hour to take me back waiting. I ended up walking which it was ª pretty long walk from the room back to the restaurant and a block before getting there another driver took me the rest of the way. Which was not cool because check out was by 1. I also believe charging additional to use a pool, per person.. at a hotel is pretty ridiculous… and if that is the case, it should be crystal clear and not hidden! The place is worth the money! No need for hidden, additional, or unexpected fees.
The food was excellent, the rooms were spacious and beautiful.. our view of la piedra was spectacular…. It was quiet and peaceful! My kids really enjoyed it!

United StatesReally my only recommendation would be that they pave the dirt roads for the safety of the guest and the transport equipment because we park our cars offsite which is really nice. Any special requests we had after arrival we met immediately a big positive!!!
I rented the two bedroom two bathroom cabana with complete kitchen fireplace on the patio. It came fully stocked, ready to go more impressive than any Airbnb that I’ve been in. The furnishings and all the kitchen, etc. were top shelf. Beds were super comfortable. I’m an experience traveler…. I will be back. It’s also a very beautiful place in Colombia.
