Tue meals there are very limited especially if you want to order room service.

We were very satisfied, however it’s important to know that you can hear the noises from the streets and also from the hotel as it’s an old building. Also, the staff is not the friendliest, especially the breakfast lady! Overall, it’s a good hotel but there are better ones

There were an electrical power outage during our stay, as the hotel does not have a generator (like some other similar 4 star hotels), the first day was stuffy and very hot. The hotel does not provide any laundry service. The building just in front being abandoned, it really provides a negative vibe when walking to the hotel at night (looks very unsafe). The WiFi is bad - it is better to connect to the WiFi of the coffeehouse next door.

The TV didn’t work in my room and wifi was patchy.

Grand colonial 6meter ceiling rooms. I had the delux double and it was absolutely beautiful. As per the era there’s a little crumbling but that just adds to the appeal. The air com was terrific, icy cold for the heavy humidity of Cartagena. I’ve yet to try the breakfast. Overall would definitely come again.

The room didn’t have any views as the windows faced the reception of the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have lifts so not ideal for all, nobody offered to help with the luggage either so we had to join forces to get it up the stairs ( luckily it was not too high up!)

The room decor was beautiful. We had two connecting rooms for a family of 4 and the set up was really nice, really spacious and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. The decor of the hotel was in line with the old town - beautiful. The view from the pool which was in the top floor was great. The pool was warm and clean. The person in the reception helped us book transport for our next destination - they were all helpful.

Shower pressure a bit low. Felt the staff were a bit tired but tried hard - maybe needed more staff around busy times e.g. breakfast times.

Great location, beautiful building with interesting architecture. Pool was good with kids to cool down at end of the day. Room size was good.

I have owned and run a small hotel and have high expectations of cleanliness in bathrooms. I think that the use of vinegar or bleach would help clean, disinfect and minimize mildew in areas of high humidity, such as the shower.

We really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with the room we initially booked. Tatiana, who works at the front desk was exceptional. She went over and above to get us settled into another. I recommend rooms on floor 2 or higher - note there are no elevators and some stairs are quite steep. We loved the hotel's proximity in the city. The rooftop breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool and lounge area were perfect to enjoy in the heat of the afternoon and relax.

Lovely little hotel located in an old house in the historical centre. It has an amazing rooftop and pool as well and the hotel reception is open 24h. The reception personnel was very helpful with everything including organising taxis for our ongoing trips. Thank you!

Such a beautiful building, great staff, personally prepare your breakfast each morning and deliver to your table on the roof top restaurant. Roof top pool, and bar is very relaxing spot after a busy day in the city. Location is bang in the centre of the centre historical. Would totally recommend a stay here. Loved it!

The power was out when we arrived, but totally understand it was a neighborhood issue not exclusive to the hotel. However, the wifi never really functioned well and I am not sure if that was related or not.

Really unique experience to have a personal suite/room with a kitchenette and lofted bed area hidden behind one of the traditional doors of the "Walled/Old City." Great location on a quieter but safe street very central to the area. We had a lot of room which was nice, we didn't need the kitchenette but is a great addition for those who do! I loved the lofted bedroom area but warning it is not accessible to those who cannot climb stairs. The rooftop is fantastic with an actual pool that is a few feet deep, 360 views, a bar (wasn't open), and many areas to sit. Best AC system we had the whole trip. The staff holds your massive key while you are out so there is someone at the desk 24/7 which helped me feel extra safe. The staff is also super kind.

With all character properties, there are some quirks. Our room didn’t really have a view but at least it was naturally cool and quiet.

Very expensive. We paid over $150 US for one night but price should have been no more than $80 Walking three floors up for a mediocre breakfast was not worth it

We were disappointed to be allocated the rooftop apartment which is a modern addition and not what we had expected having booked into a colonial period house but the hotel staff were excellent and upgraded us to a lovely characterful room for our second night.

A stunning central historical building on the corner of Calle de la Estrella, plus a comfortable roof terrace. The main hotel bedrooms have lovely furniture and thoughtful touches.

A few niggles around the design of the balcony door handle and closure made it virtually impossible to use without fear of it breaking. Just needs a few minutes work to fix. Some of the lights didn't work. Again probably a simple repair.

The location was very good, everywhere in the walled city was walkable. The staff are very approachable and friendly. Tasty breakfasts. The shower was great. The building was lovely.

First morning I was waiting on breakfast for 10 minutes, without anybody even acknowledging my presence; let alone saying “good morning” or “would you like a cup of coffee?”. So I decided to eat at other places, despite breakfast being included.

Very nice hotel in the center of the city. Close to shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars, and more. I had a spacious room with balcony overlooking histrionic streets. People at reception were very nice and helpful.

Steep stairs leading up to the rooftop so be prepared for that. Breakfast was mediocre. Glad they offer it but it’s not anything phenomenal.

The location was perfect. The room we stayed in was cute and clean. Understanding that this is an old building so there’s a certain aesthetic about it. Tatiana at the front desk was phenomenal! She’s a great resource for anything you need.

The only thing I didn’t like is that breakfast is served in the rooftop and you have to climb a few stairs to get there, the last ones very steep and narrow - not recommended if you have mobility restrictions

Beautiful hotel, very unique rooms (specially the open bathrooms!!), loved the rooftop pool. The staff is super friendly and it has a perfect location. Comfortable and enjoyable.
