AC Work Space, very confortable. 2 pools, one in the rooftop and the other in the first floor of the building. Great rooftop restaurant and bar. They normally have on the weekends live music .

The building is placed in downtown which makes close to everything, but the street smells as homeless use it as bathroom and beds.

Overall the place is clean, but the bathroom is quite small and you see it'll need renovation in next year's.

The staff is super nice.The place has two pools, rooftop area with chill out places, bar and restaurant. They offer laundry service and activities. The room was good space and comfortable bed.

There is nothing I did not like.

Wonderful stay, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool in the patio and the rooftop area are gorgeous, the live music was really cool and the food and cocktails at the restaurant were delicious, it was great to be able to enjoy these facilities without having to go out. The staff super helpful. Great value for money, if I ever come back I will stay here for sure.

The property was gorgeous! With an indoor/outdoor pool and another on the rooftop. A perfect spot for people working remote, there are so many places at the hostel that you can get work done inside and outside. The wifi is super strong for video calls even. The private room was very large and perfect for 2 people.

There’s not much in the city besides partying but really easy access to Tayrona. The pool and rooftop is really nice. Lots of common spaces to meet people.

How I love Masaya Hostels since my first in Quito, Ecuador back in 2018… This one exceeded my expectations - gorgeous space, layout, two different kinds of swimming pools to suit your taste, 24 hour reception, 24 hour coworking space (excellent for my boyfriend who needed to work European hours during our stay)… We just needed one night in Santa Marta to break our long travels so we chose the budget friendly dorms, and it didn’t fall short on quality and attention to details. Great WiFi, rooftop space with their own restaurant and communal kitchen, location is pretty much centre, just a few blocks from all the happenings… Keeping my eye out for more Masaya’s <3

Every time we usted the fan, it would disperse clouds of dust throughout the room. Also, surrounding the hotel there are a lot of homeless people, and down the street there’s an abandoned building where they gather and it smells like piss all day

Bright orange wristbands with Masaya printed on them. They immediately singled us out as tourists. A more subtle way to identify guests would be preferable.

Rooftop bar and restaurant were very pleasant. Lots of cocktails to choose from. Some shaded areas to sit quietly or hammocks to relax in. There were also 2 small pools to cool off in. There was free chilled safe drinking water at reception. Close to the lively waterfront and centrally located. Front door security was a reassuring addition as area had a few unsavoury characters. Good value for money.

My family and I really like to central location of the property and the rooftop pool and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly answering all our questions.
