Honestly there isn’t anything that stands out to me as not liking.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The courtyard area is inviting and beautiful. My room was clean and comfortable . I liked that I was able to adjust the air conditioning to a temperature that felt comfortable. The shower temperature and pressure were good. Having the pool to enjoy after walking around the Walled City was super nice. As a solo traveler I felt very safe staying there and was within walking distance of The Walled City. The included breakfast was delicious!

Very helpful friendly staff Excellent breakfast. Clean spacious room and extensive outdoor areas too. Quiet, while still close to Gethsemani lively streets. City’s hot humid climate was made manageable due to the two hotel pools and well Air conditioned rooms.

Leidis and Andrés at the reception were so helpful and so accommodating. They were superb hosts. The location is centric but on a quiet street. A plus!

There was no fridge in the room which meant we couldn't keep anything cold. Breakfast was nice but limited choice compared to elsewhere we have stayed.

A/C took an age to cool the room down!

Location in Getsemani with loads of bars, restaurants, nearby as well as Plaza de la Trinidad within a couple of minutes walk. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the day staff. Good value, especially compared with the hotels in the Walled City.

If there is a night festival in the nearby town, you can hear it in the room late at night. But that's not the fault of the place. If you want to experience an original colonial and cozy place in Cartagena, this is it.

Good location and acomodation, close enough to walk everywhere in the old part of Cartagena. The room, although basic, was clean, showers and AC included, as well as daily tidying up and fresh towels. Breakfast is simple, but enough, with tasty fresh fruits. The little courtyard with pool and flowers adds a very nice touch to the whole place. Exotic bird sounds are part of the experience as well. The front desk is very friendly and smiling all the time we interacted. She speaks good English and was helpful with ordering a very early morning taxi for the airport. Thank you so much for making our stay in Cartagena a memorable one!

The staff was friendly & helpful. We arrived early & they allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk so we didn’t have to carry them around for a couple of hours. The location is great-in Getsemani, but not where it is loud. 5 minute walk to Trinidad & San Filipe. The pools were welcome during the hot afternoon and I highly recommend the rooftop lounge chairs around 4:30/5 in the afternoon!

Bed was a little firm for my taste and the water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

My room was a good size even with the 2 beds in it and the a/c was quiet and efficient. The bed was a little firm firm for my liking, but that's common in Colombia. There's a bedside table and lamp and a central light switch next to the bed. Also a small desk but oddly no chair although one was supplied instantly when I asked. Everything was kept spick and span throughout my stay by the excellent housekeepers. The small pool is perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoons but too small to swim in and there are limited loungers and chairs but it's a pretty spot as are the gardens in the other courtyard. There's also a shady covered area perfect for relaxing with a book or just catching up with emails. Security is good with 24 hour front gate that you had to be buzzed in and out of. Even at odd hours I was buzzed in promptly. The neighborhood seemed very safe to me even late at night. Room keys are kept at reception. Staff were fabulous, especially the young lady who checked me in and who also helped out at breakfast. She was always cheery, unfailingly helpful and always greeted me by name. The other staff were equally lovely. Breakfast was simple but tasty with eggs, juice, cereal, fruit, coffee, etc.

The staff!! Leinis and Andres were both amazing, they are super nice and always available to help and solve your questions. The room has enough space, the bathroom is basic but is good, AC perfectly working and not noisy, they also have fans. Bed is comfortable and in general is very clean. Location is very good

Absolutely beautiful little place to stay in the middle of Getsemani, but still very quiet. I loved the entrance with the gorgeous little courtyard, my room was clean and even had a hairdryer and hot water, which is not that common in Cartagena. I appreciated the little hidden seating areas throughout the hotel, so you could always find a quiet spot to relax. The breakfast was yummy and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I will definitely be back!
