Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaThe only thing was that the room felt humid but these days it had been raining so much in Salento, so I guess it's normal in this case.
The location is great, the lady was very nice to us, we could check in at 3 a.m. upon arriving from Medellin, which was perfect! They arranged laundry service for us, which also was great!

TurkeyIt could be could if there was purified water. No english speakers. In booking. com it says credit cards are accepted but lady asked cash. When we insisted, following day they accepted credit card which wa s good. .
It is like in the photos. The room was clean and smell fresh. There is window, opening the common area. Bathroom was ok, with hot water. Location is 4 block away from main square

The house is in a great location, really easy to get to from the bus station. The hostel is really cosy and quiet which is appreciated for early morning hikes. Wifi is also strong.

SwitzerlandThe owner wasnt very nice to me and wasnt patient. I observed, that with people who spoke good spanish, she was much nicer. Dont know if that was the reason or if she just did not like me. The bed are very shakey and loud. One light that is behind a bed. Only two power stations for 5 people. And since everybody has an adaptor, you can only use one at the time.
The hostel is 2min from the bus station and from there another 2min to the central place in Salento. Everything is closeby, Salento is very small and cozy. Wlan was good.

Very good location and Stephanie was very friendly and accommodating even when we arrived so late in the night from a horrendous traffic on our way from Medellin to Salento. We done a coffee tour with Don Eduardo Plantation House, it was just few minutes walking distance from the hostel if you do this tour take insect repellent or clothes that covers your legs and arms. We got absolutely eaten alive but the tour was very worth it still. The staff let us to keep our bags in there after we check out. We were really pleased with it. I highly recommend this hostel! Also, Very good hot shower!
