Staff didn't speak English. The soundproofing of rooms is non-existent, you hear EVERYTHING from outside. No toiletries provided for the shower or a blanket for the bed, though it was needed. Also, the mattress was very firm & bed made of wood, very noisy.

Property is in a good location if you're wanting to be around bars, restaurants & shops (mainly higher end). Facilities worked as they should & property was clean.

1 of my rooms did not have a safe, reserved 3 rooms at the same price but they all were not the same size and didn't have same amenities, need better quality mattresses

The AC had trouble keeping up with the Cartagena heat and all of us sleeping there.

Location was excellent right in Old Town, staff were very friendly and the room (family room) was exactly what we were looking for.

What I didn’t like is that I was charged an extra 250.000 Colombian pesos when I had already paid for the Room. I was charged this not when I came in but really late at night when I was drunk. I was told by the stuff that a receipt was going to be sent via email but I never received it. I thought it was weird since I’ve stayed at the Hotel many times before.

Small rooms, without windows

A large number of the dishes that I took from the cabinets were dirty, either smeared with oil or with food crusted on them. There was no spatula of any kind for turning food in a pan. There were no towels or hot mittens, which made cooking with a larger pot dangerous. in addition, the booking describes a microwave and a clothing drying rack but the hotel desk said those are only for hotel room guests. The sofa was listed as being a sofa bed, and was not. It was also quite old and sagged in the middle; one cushion needed repair as well. 

The floors, the bathroom, the refrigerator we’re all spotless.  the air conditioner, which was in the bedroom, worked well and a connecting fan in the wall hold some of that air into the main room.  It was relatively isolated from the noise of the old city center.

A little noise from outside as the room adjoins a common space with windows on the street that are always open: people on the street can get a bit noisy at night, but we still slept well. Our sink fell off the wall the last night, flooding the whole room, but the staff was super quick in prepping new rooms for us so that we could move the whole family and luggages quickly.

Large, comfortable room, A/C, smart TVs, shower. Plenty of beds for our family of 7. Location is great, close to everything in old Cartagena. Staff was excellent and very welcoming.

Lots of keys and locks to get in. But I got used to that.

I actually stayed at San Augustin apartments because they offered it to me upon arrival, for the same price. They said it would be much quieter, and it was. it was also much bigger, as it was an apartment, not just a room. I really appreciated having the extra space and a refrigerator! Its really hot there.

It's a great spot and very safe. Don't expect much but a clean bed and a shower but that's all you need - the fun is right outside the hotel.

There was an issue, a woman was attacked by a foreign guest. Police came and we thought the frontdeske woman was going to be more responsive with the victim.

It was a simple place, the location is great. But no luxury there.
