Charming old building and the furniture take you back in time to the 1800s. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The location is central yet in a quiet street. Nice to have bathrobes and safe in the room.

we had some issues with the room because was without window & natural light, after arguing with the staff and a complaint to booking our room was changed and we had a very nice stay at the end.

the property is really spectacular, very conveniently located. the breakfast was very tasty.

Amazing colonial style house with high ceilings, a beautiful patio and authentic elements. Breakfast was great, something different every day we stayed here. Enjoyed the swimming pool and view on the roof terrace. Location is exactly where you want it to be.

the staff are the nicest. very sweet, friendly, and helpful. we felt so safe and they had great recommendations. they even walked us outside to say bye. we will definitely come back. they decorated our room with rose petals for our anniversary. so sweet

This isn't necessary bad, but just an fyi for people with disabilities. There are no elevators. I knew this going in even though I have a disability. If you can't walk up a flight of stairs, I would consider a different place. I wear a foot brace, and enjoyed walking up and down the stairs. I saw it as exercise. ha! There is a hand rail you can hold on while going up which helped a lot. There are plenty of places to sit around and chill if walking up the stairs gets tiring.

My family of 5 and I stayed at this house for one night. We stayed on room #7 which accommodated all of us comfortably. I loved the ambiance and colonial style of the house. Staying here took me back in time. The service was amazing before and after checking out. Kelly was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole staff welcomed us like they new us forever. Henry (the owner) is very knowledgeable and welcoming himself. I love that he hangs around as he is one of the guests himself. My family and I also enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the library. The location is also perfect. Once you get to the hotel in a taxi from the airport, everything is mostly walking distance. The hotel was nice enough to set up transportation for us from the airport to check in at the hotel(Once you get a feel for Cartagena, you can bargain almost any price). I personally felt safe booking a taxi through them in a city I have never been to before. We left our bags with the staff after checking out, because our flight didn't leave until late that night and they did not have a problem with that. I would recommend 2 nights here and to try their resort in the beach to relax. That is what I will be doing next time. Thank you to all the staff for such a memorable experience!

Beautiful old building with a small pool on the top terrace. the host was very welcoming and informative. breakfast was not the largest in size but simple and tasty. would definitely recommend if staying 1-2 nights in Cartagena old town

Nothing. I only wished I stayed longer to enjoy the whole space!

Reception staff were amazing, so helpful, check-in was seamless, they helped with my onward travel too. Bonus: I desperately needed to iron some dresses and they brought me a steamer which was exactly what I needed. These ladies know! Lol. And the whole hotel itself is simply gorgeous. The room is small but it's so pretty you could overlook that.

The pool was disappointing 😞. In the pictures it looked big but in reality it was tiny. It wasn't inviting.

The staff was extremely helpful; they helped us get a local guide for a walking tour, which was less expensive. When we had early days the staff arranged for us to be served an earlier breakfast. They recommend restaurants and made reservations for us.

This is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. The staff are my absolute favorites. Kelly, Susanna, etc will make your stay with them great. I was lucky enough to meet one of the owners on this trip (my 3rd at this hotel) and he’s a complete gentleman. This is the type of place you want to stay at when visiting Cartagena. It has the charm of the old city. There’s a great rooftop with a pool, and the breakfasts are phenomenal. I highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hotel in an old colonial building. The room and bathroom super clean and lots of space and hot water in the bathroom. Good breakfast served in a lovely setting. We stayed 2 nights while exploring Cartagena, then left for the islands, and returned for one more night. The staff is absolutely wonderful!

We were given a room on the ground floor and the first night it was really noisy and there was a very strong smell in the room coming from a poppuri oil thing we finally located. Think the room was a bit overpriced.

The room itself was very large and the breakfast was good. It was in a good location for walking around.

not much to describe here, I would say that the wifi was hit & miss, and the breakfast was not to our liking, but this is getting picky. Loved the place overall.

The hotel was spot on for a boutique experience. We loved the decor and location in the old town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in our needs, reservations, and questions. The rooms were quaint and well cleaned.
