The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a cook on-site that makes very tasty meals for a good price. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool looks like a little Oasis. Very close by taxi (about $1.50 each way) to the main center.

The hotel is such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the pool and gardens . The staff are so friendly and helpful, making sure that your stay is not only brilliant in the hotel but also assisting in organising trip in the surrounding areas . Carmen and her team do such a good job .

This visit we were in the inner courtyard close to the reception and it was a bit noisy during the night - but this was the fault of other guests not the hotel.

A very pleasant hotel which is beautifully decorated. Nice pool which is great for kids. The addition of a restaurant service is a big improvement over our previous visit.

Everything was perfect and delicious! Gorgeous touches and decorations. Room was very quiet, comfortable for a family of 4 and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was one of the best in our stays in Santa Marta, delicious dinner and good cocktails. Welcoming staff, always available. Location is about 8 minutes from the historic center by taxi and there are some fast food places around de hotel. I would stay at Camali hotel again without hesitation

The neighborhood is not that great for tourists.

The chef prepared amazing dishes. The pool was fun to use. It was nice to store our drinks in a central fridge. We also enjoyed the cats! The staff was very helpful.

The hotel is very nice with a great pool and very friendly staff. There is not much to do in the direct vicinity of the hotel but the city center is at walking distance or take a 5 minute ride with a taxi. Great value for money.

It was not the hotel's fault but the electricity went out one night because of a storm and the room became unbearably hot. They were able to get it back on by the morning.

The restaurant was in the pool area so it was very light and sunny. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff however, were great. They helped us in many different situations.

We adored our stay here! The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were extremely friendly and the pool was a lovely place to hang out - very clean. Third stay here in two weeks, before and after Lost City hike, and after Minca (closer to airport for an early morning flight). As my earlier reviews: fabulous. The staff remembered us and gave us the keys to the poolside double room. Big, comfortable room, good shower, quiet hotel, great pool, lovely staff. Small food menu but fine. Plenty of restaurants around Parque Cundi right outside the hotel. Good to sit in in the evening and people watch.

For some travellers the fact the hotel is not near the waterfront may be a disadvantage (short taxi or twenty minutes walk), but we wanted peace and quiet, and a long lie down!

A very tranquil courtyard style small hotel on the outskirts of Santa Marta town. Spacious, clean rooms, our king room looked out onto the gorgeous swimming pool. There is another planted courtyard with rooms just as lovely. Shower excellent, bed comfy. Charming bar and limited menu restaurant but good value, tasty (western style food). The staff are very friendly. We found this a perfect place to relax before and after our Lost City hike. The hotel will happily look after your luggage.

There is some noise from an adjacent food hall outside the hotel and for 2 nights there was a lot of wind which seemed to cause a lot of banging and thumping.

Hotel Camali is lovely with a wonderful pool, really nice interior gardens and sitting areas. The breakfast was good with several choices, and the small restaurant serves good meals for lunch and dinner. There is water and drinks available on the honor system. The staff were friendly. It's an easy 20 - 25 minute walk to the Museo de Oro and centro historico. It's a happening vibe outside the hotel in the evening with at least a dozen restaurants of all kinds surrounding the nice Parque el Cundi, which is right outside the hotel and a gathering place for local families.
