Filtered water would be a great addition as buying bottles all of the time isn’t great.

Stunning bedrooms, couldn’t get closer to the sea if you tried. Friendly helpful staff at check in. Comfortable, cool and clean. Nice spacious bathroom too.

Relaxing stay right on the beach. More of just a basic room, the place doesn’t have much of an atmosphere, but the views and the sound of the ocean is so calming. Restaurant just opening 2 doors down.. ‘El conche y nancar’ - best fish I’ve eaten in Colombia!

Ok, sometimes a bit of a kitchen smell, but not in all rooms and not in the fresh breeze either.

Super open concept, in the four-poster bed or or 2 hammocks right on the beach! The sound of the sea is always present and you can't miss the rising sun. Great breakfast and dinner on the beach, meeting point because it's so good. On the right neighbor is the best surfing school with a new hostel - Mendihuaca Surf Camp, on the left is the best fish restaurant in the area. The river next to it is clean and relaxed. For everyone who relaxes without Loving inhibitions (acoustically also uninhibited, of course). Nature reserve therefore quiet at 10 p.m. - not for party fans!

There is no outside food or drink allowed so you do have to buy there. Understandable but would have been nice to have a beer on our hammocks listening to the sea.

Amazing room overlooking the beach. Best place we've stayed in Colombia. We loved every minute of this stay. Fans were provided to help keep cool in the evenings. Stayed in the upstairs room and was great to hear the sea while you slept.

As a digital Nomad i missed a little Desk/Table and a Office chair to do my work. Would be awsome to Work there with this View and Vibe.

They put a plastic cover on the mattress which makes the bed quite uncomfortable

Rooms are directly off the beach. Clean room. Best value (and tastiest) food on the whole beach. Staff were nice.

The shower pressure is quite low but that’s a very small concern.

Beautiful rooms open towards the sea, the view and the sound of the waves are truly magical, and the beach is a true tropical paradise. The rooms simple but comfortable and feel luxurious, the hammocks are perfect. Staff is super nice and the restaurant downstairs is amazing, we didn’t even eat anywhere else during our stay. You can also arrange a card payment with a small surcharge if you need. Do get a room on the top floor if you can. We had no issues with hearing our neighbors, the waves drown any other sound really well.

The hours at which the restaurant of the hotel opens in the morning are not really reliable - too bad because the food there is amazing !

The rooms are really comfortable and the hammocks are an absolute dream.

Had some initial confusion upon arrival. Paid a little more and booked a first floor room with a balcony via Booking.com, but we were shown to a ground floor room by reception when we showed up. Had to wait around for 10-15 mins or so while the reception girl contacted the owner but all was rectified and thankfully we got the room which we booked.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea on Mendihuaca beach. Would recommend booking a room on the first floor, as you don't quite get the same experience in the ground floor rooms. Delicious breakfast offerings - smoothie bowls being a highlight!

no AC and a very small fan provided. Hard to sleep it is so hot at night. Also feels like you’re in a hostel dorm room, as you can hear your neighbors like there aren’t any walls.

Right on the beach and the best all around restaurant as well. next to the surf school so renting a board was easy and you can watch the surf from your hammock to see when it’s up.

Wifi was down for about half a day, this is not the hotel's fault, there was a strong rain that evening, and every hotel on the beach was suffering from the same thing, just thought I'd mention it since spotty internet might be a factor for some travelers.

The location is excellent, and they have one of the best breakfast restaurants on the beach (lunch and dinner are delicious as well). The beds are large and mosquito netting in perfect conditions. I spent a lot of time on the hammock just enjoying the breeze. There was an outlet near the bed to keep electronics charged and plug in the standing fan that is provided in the room.The bathroom was clean and spacious, great water pressure (idk if there was any hot water, never used it, as the weather is hot enough? )
