I found the breakfast selection limited. The rooms require better sound insulation, you could hear people opening their doors, talking in the hallway, whilst you were in ur room.

The location of the hotel was great! The rooms have all been renovated, and the gym & sauna were decent.

This is not something about the hotel but one should know that the distance between places is huge. Consider using a taxi cab. It is not expensive. Do not take those waiting near the places you visit, they ask at least 100 Yuan for any ride. Instead hail one on the streets.

The hotel is very well located on Wangfujing street and close to the places of attraction. The staff and especially those in the executive lounge on the 10th floor were extremely kind. (Hi Lilly 👋) The room was very clean and comfortable thanks to the housekeeping staff.

The internet could have been better

During our stay there, I could hear drilling noise from nearby. The hotel has a statement in the room about renovation works in April but my stay there was two months after the period. The rooms are also very far from the lift, so it was tough for senior citizens like us. I was staying in room 937. The carpet looked dated

The wifi connection could be a bit slow at times. I am used to the fast network connection in my home country so I am not used to the slower internet speed.

Construction of reforming the new building might be a bit annoying when you can hear it out loud having the breakfast in the nice restaurant. The hotel did offer some gifts for compensation, but nothing else could be done if it is construction.

Room is newly reformed. I got upgrade when paying for the early check in. Spacious and comfortable, breakfast is very good.

As my stay was 6 nights, the 1st room they gave was horrible with the window facing a white wall. It was a difficult process requesting for a change but I finally did get a room facing the church with the help of a very nice young gentleman at the front desk. The lady manager however, was difficult even though she could speak English.

It was a really great stay, great location, great staff and great facilities. Although the hotel is being renovated at the moment, the disturbance was minor and didn't bother us. I recommend going to the restaurant at the hotel at least once for dinner and enjoying the Peking Duck. It's so delicious.

The room temperature is too warm even with AC on. One of our rooms has to be be changed. The front desk said they will leave the key in the slot so the AC will be running during the day time, however the service team took the key away and the room is hot when we came back. There is no AC at night although the fan is running.

Breakfast ‘hall’ has a usual atmosphere. Food was fine but the atmosphere and set up is a little odd.
