We have been to Suzhou many times but this was the first time we stayed in Crown Plaza. We are very happy with our selection, the location, the water view and the hotel's proximity to major attractions are first class. The walking path above the water next to the hotel makes our stay even more enjoyable. It is so beautiful with flowers along both sides of the pathway. The service is excellent with all our demands are met. We celebrate our milestone birthday here. The check-in, room services and breakfast are all great. This is one of the best Crown chain hotel in the world we have stayed. We wish to thank you all for the great facility and service.

The front desk manager SanSan is truly remarkable with her proactive approach and made all my family members felt very welcome. In fact it is her I think that makes the hotel so special.

The common areas of the hotel are impressive, and we appreciated a lot the amazing breakfast, the lobby bar and the sophisticated dining options. Our rooms had access to the lounge on 7th floor and that was a nice plus for business meetings and a relaxing tea or drink after a busy day. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated very much the possibility to walk on the lake banks, and the peaceful location. The staff was extremely kind and helful, and always very professional.

United StatesThe front desk messed up my bill and charge badly and it took them couple days to sorted out. 1. I made two reservations (one day, and added another day). So I contacted the hotel to combine the two reservations so that we don't have to switch rooms during the stay. 2. I made another reservation for my brother from Chinese Xiechen website with payment of 999. 3. When we checked into hotel. We were asked to provide a credit card for security purposes so my brother gave his CC. 4. No one asked me for my IHG credit card even though they know I was a IHG member. 5. When checking out, I was not provided a statement of charge. 6. The put my booking.com reservation and xiechen.com reservation on the same bill that's what everything went wrong. 7. They used my brother's security deposit CC to pay both booking.com and xiechen.com reservations (I paid off the xiechen.com already. But they charged me 1093 instead of 999 CN) 8. They charged me 400 more that booking.com reservation which already included all taxed. I had a feeling I paid double taxes. 9. No one explained to it to me during checking out. 10. I had to contact the hotel and finally got 1093 back. But I still have question about the 400 CN tax charge!
Location, Location, Location! The overall environment is really good and convenient. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping mall. I really like the breakfast with good variety and tasty! The staff was hospitality.

I was upgraded to the executive floor (was I)? But I was not able to enjoy the facilities as I did not pay for it for the first 2 nights. There's a buggy to send us to the main road, from the hotel entrance. And the concierge offered to help us collect food from MeiTuan. Thanks for the good services. The stay was very comfortable and we really like the toilets and the beds!

SingaporeDefinitely the food at the executive lounge..Not something that is really up to my expectation. And also, to get to the lake, 1 big round, can't really use the back entrances.
The staff were polite and kind. Holly did a good job checking us in, with Chloe being the only one who was able to tell me where I could get medication (believe me, I went to the malls and the staff at the supermarket was not even helpful about it). I mean, in Singapore, normal medications are sold at supermarkets :( Thanks to Chloe and I was able to get medication for my boy! And there's Turbo who was quick to reflect my feedback on the cold tasteless fried rice at the lounge. And the room cleaning lady at level 8!! She was very kind to pass me bottles of water learning that my boy was not feeling well. Thanks to all (I cannot recall all names, but thanks to your great hospitality)

The breakfast was phenomenal. The attention by the staff was unprecedented in all my decades of travel There was no decaffeinated coffee at the buffet and I asked a staff member if they had some. In minutes I was given decaffeinated coffee.
