Staff very helpful and sweet. Upgraded our double room to a suite and let us check in early! Super comfy bed, and housekeeping was great, came every day with new towels and toilet paper etc.. loved our stay here and would definitely book again!

The hotel was very old with carpeted floors and a dodgy lift, however the rooms were comfortable.

Excellent location, right around the corner from Nanjing road and a short walk away from the iconic Shang Hai skyline. The staff spoke English well and were very friendly. New towels and bottles of water were provided every day. Good value for money if your looking for somewhere cheap to stay in Shang Hai in The Bund.

The lift creaked and groaned the whole way up.

We stayed here 1 night on 22 hour transit. We liked the location as it was close to East Nanjing Metro Station and The Bund. We were able to use public transport from the airport and then again next morning to see a bit of Shanghai. Checkin and and out quick and easy. Room was air conditioned and bed comfortable. Would recommend for short budget stays

They only give you tea bags and kettle in the room and no coffee. A free cup of coffee for every night that you spend in the room would not hurt the hotel owners or manager but will add great value to the customer experience.

It is a budget hotel with no bells and whistles, basically you have a comfortable bed and a private bathroom that you can choose to come and sleep only. It is close to all the tourist attractions and 3 mins walk from the Shanghai metro. Location: 10/10

It was not nice to see cockroaches in the room.

The location of the facility was very nice. You can walk to Nanjing Road and it is 5 minutes away from the metro. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It is successful in terms of price/performance.

Wood floors and stairway in my room were very slippery. Mats or rugs need to be installed to prevent injury.

Location is close to subway Line 2 and less than a mile from The Bund. Good value, quiet rooms and location. I left an article of clothing and they promptly sent it to my next hotel in Beijing.

The room has carpet, not a fan of this.

If you are looking to stay on the bund at a great price this place is for you. Free water and coca cola, but it is an older place so dont expect perfection. Staff does not speak too much english, but we were able to get by. I needed an ATM and they were able to show me where to go. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again.

The rooms have (hopefully) seen better days. The elevator is really scary. Check-in takes a long time as usually in China. Limited toilet paper.

Close to metro (direct line from the airports), walkable to the Bund and most central attractions. Adequate for an overnight stay - overall acceptable cleanliness and amenities for the price. Free drinks were a nice touch.

The walls of the apartment could be refreshed, and the temperature of the water could be more stable in the shower.

The carpet and sofa look old and dirty. The lighting is dim. Saw a cockroach in my room. The hotel is located in a narrow one way lane and the cab drivers cannot find it easily.

Location is excellent, within walking distance to the metro station, the Bund and Nanjing road. There are also many food options in the area. Staff gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room which is a loft unit where the bedroom is upstairs. There is air conditioner in both the bedroom level and living room/ toilet level. The towels and bedsheets are clean.

TV didn't work, which is no major issue but needs a mention. Shower was okay once you get the hang of it, but initially it may be tricky to find the hot/cold balance. Internet service needs an uplift, you're better off using an eSim because the internet service is very weak here, and thats without considering China's great firewall.

Room sizes were amazing, and fairly clean, also the shower was good. Staff were friendly, and willing to try their english speaking skills or use translation app as required. They also did a great job of securing us a taxi for our departure. The location is the great, probably the best selling point as it is a short walk from Nanjing Road. From the hotel, you can probably reach the bund in around 20 minutes but the walk is enjoyable if you head to Nanjing Road first. There is also some super interesting backstreets around the location of this hotel, where you can get the best scallion pancakes served fresh. The room had a fridge, was was needed due to the heat we experienced at the time of staying.
