The check in wasn’t great but that was it. We were unlucky with a gentleman with an attitude but everyone else was great. We also would’ve liked to have had a Chinese breakfast option rather than only western.

We love the size and location. The apartments have everything we need.

The distances to the metro station and difficulties to get a taxi without local Apps. The high price.

We had the “penthouse” on the top floor of the west building. It is a great apartment: spacious, clean and having a nice view. Additionally, there is a private terrace on the roof-top, which is rare in Shanghai. The apartment is cleaned daily, where coffee capsule are provided. In particular, we appreciate the early check-in since our flight arrived in Shanghai early. The communication with the hotel were always friendly, prompt and professional. The breakfast vouchers were provided, which also made our stay enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. Due to its large space, it is a perfect accommodation for families with older children.

There are certain distances to the local restaurants. The small eateries within the Shanghai Center complex are oriented to Westerner taste with exorbitant prices. Getting a taxi is problematic without a local-app. We went to Ritz-Carlson front, where the bell-captains seem to have their own “preferred” taxi drivers.

Although the apartment was not as nice as the previous one we rented (this on is on the 11th floor), it has everything of what was promised in the booking: it is spacious, with clean and larger bathrooms. The staff (reception and cleaning) were friendly. The apartment is cleaned every day, which is nice. We like the fact that there is breakfast included in the apartment, where we could go to one of the two small café nearby. The beds are comfortable, the sound isolation was good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Good local Chinese restaurants can be found outside of the Shanghai Center complex.

-No bell boy to help you carry the luggage to the room. For us it was ok, maybe for old people it would be a bit difficult

Location is unbeatable. It literally is in the centre of the city as the name suggests. There are multiple subways lines nearby that pretty much reach every corner of the city. Room has a very functional and well-kept kitchen. But there are also plenty of stores, groceries, restaurants nearby to choose from. Residence is a facility galore. Family loves it and we are return guests. This is our home away from home.

Furniture is a lttle dated but comfortable nontheless. Breakfast vouchers can be used at 2 outlets but La Duree is open at 9. So we ended up having breakfasts at the same place and choices are rather limited.

It could have been better if the staff are able to converse in English. We have 4 individual guests at the apartment and we were only given 3 sets of keys.

The apartment is clean, very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Staff at the front desk was amazing. Location is downtown with many malls and eateries around, there is even a supermarket just stone-throw away. Train station was near. For breakfast, there were 2 proposed venues; Laduree and Baker & Spice. Breakfast options are good on their menu.

Lighting in the unit needs to be brighter especially in the bathroom. Music on one song loop at the bar. Being really picky but otherwise fantastic and will return!
