The interior is nicely decorated and you can see that a lot of love and effort has been put into it! Also, the staff was super friendly and really helpful. WIll come back for another weekend getaway as I really liked it there!

The kitchen was closed for an upgrade but we had not been notified of this in advance. It meant there were zero food options for breakfast or for dinner. The staff did give us a recommendation for food in the local town, which was nice but after a long and tiring day in the mountains we were looking forward to eating in, especially after reading the reviews saying how good it was.

Lovely little hotel with simply but nicely appointed roos, in a great location for exploring the mountains. They offered great advice on visiting the mountains and helped to organise our onward transport.

It was in a quiet location but also very close to lots of shops and restaurants. Only 1 km straight walk to bus station for mountain area. Staff very friendly and helpful, clean hotel and room, all other facilities all good. Would stay again.

Both the hotel and staff were fantastic. I rented a room here last minute when I decided it would be best to spend one night in Tangkou after hiking Huangshan rather than trekking all the way back to my lodgings in Huangshan City (60 km away). This boutique hotel is a gem--beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The staff offered to pick me up from the bus stop after a long day of hiking in torrential rain (they had provided their WeChat number, and replied almost immediately), and also arranged for my transportation back to Huangshan City the following day (the price for this latter was just a bit higher than the intercity bus I took on the way there, and was much more comfortable). They also recommended the best hiking route for my second day on Huangshan (which turned out to be spectacular). The hotel exceeded all of my expectations and I would certain stay there again! It's in a wonderful spot (surrounded by mountains right along the river, a short walk away from one of the scenic area entry points). Mimi, the resident kitty cat, was also adorable.

Bed could be a bit softer, but overall the room was nice for a shorter stay.

Really nice and cozy hotel. Communication was excellent and beyond our expectations. We could ask all our questions before our stay which really helped with our planning. They also speak very good English. While we encountered some unexpected problems in the mountains the staff of the hotel was very responsive, attentive and helped us out tremendously. We are truly grateful for their efforts and going beyond for their guests! I would definitely come back next time here when visiting the mountains.

1) The hotel is very close (10min) to one of the Huangshan scenic area entrances to take the scenic area shuttle bus 2) Welcome drink 3) You can let your heavy luggage at the hotel if you plan to sleep at the top of the mountain with light bag. 4) The staff very helpful. Can pick you up at the Tongkou bus station when coming from the Huangshan railway station, help booking the ticket entrance online in advance, provide advice on the place to visit in the mountain, allow to take a shower even after checkout when leaving just after hiking, and book shared taxi to save time to go back to Huangshan railway station.

Some of the common areas got a little dirty at times. The hotel team were often sitting around in quiet times, and could have been more attentive, giving them a clean.

The team were excellent. My partner fell ill, and they were very helpful, helping me go the pharmacy to get some medication. They also speak good english.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We received good advice on the route to follow for the mountain. Picked us up from the bus station as well as took us to the transfer station to climb Huangshan. They also helped arrange a shared taxi for our onward journey. We had left the luggage at the hotel to pick up the next day after our night on the mountain. Even though we had checked out, the staff offered us the use of the shower and so forth, which we found very kind and considerate. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.
