Hong KongFood options a bit expensive (although young kids do eat free at the breakfast and dinner buffet) and ordering food in the restaurant and room service took quite a long time to come (1hr). Kids playroom expensive and the kids restaurant was "fully booked" when we tried to eat there. Was a holiday weekend so it was busy and breakfast had a queue if you didn't get in early. Some other guests smoke in rooms.
Nice big hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Lots of options and good quality with make your own fruit juice station, Nespresso coffee station, many types of food. Swimming pool was also fantastic with a small beach area, kids slides, huge pool with a pirate ship! It has a good gym. Rooms have a balcony, but some with little view, so if you want a decent view request it. 2 minutes walk from the subway station.

Facilities for kids are fantastic. Room size and amenities very nice! Staff was friendly however their English is very poor.

Hong KongSorry it had taken me a month to write this review. I want to especially thank the manager at the executive lounge (Even Lin 林伊雯). She was so helpful throughout the stay and helped me to contact the Didi company to find my iPhone which I had left on the Didi on the way to the hotel. She also helped us with other things as well during the trip which made our stay very smooth. We booked the InterContinental Club Room so we had club lounge access on the 7th Floor. We got upgrade to an even better room with a view to the theme park next door. The staff at the hotel are very professional. The hotel is very well ran with a family focus. We loved the pool /beach / water park in the middle of the hotel. There are elevators connecting the guests from the room floor straight to the pool area. The breakfast was amazing by the way. Lots of options of western and Chinese food. There is a underground train station a few steps in front of the hotel entrance. So it is well connected. We really enjoyed our vacation and thank you once again Club Intercontinental Manager (Even Lin 林伊雯).

Hong Kongduring breakfast time it was very busy, i think the space and number of staff is not enough to accommodate so many guests for the guests. for the juice bar, had to wait for over 30 mins for the fresh juice. i stayed for 4 nights and there was one day we needed to move to another restaurant with less variety of food for our breakfast.
the cleaning staff was very detailed. she knew our needs and would do her best to accommodate our needs. overall i think all the staff there are very helpful and supportive to be there for you. we will come back and stay again.

I always stay in this hotel during business trips to Shenzhen. This time was as perfect as usual. The room was clean and cousy, the breakfast was superb. The sand beach and water in the pool were very much relaxing. Special mention and thanks to the Club Manager Even Lin for taking care for reservation and checking out. She was also very helpfull in all other small tips.

United States of AmericaWe had reserved a room with two queen beds, but we’re given a room with two twin beds. Thankfully our daughters are small so we could fit one adult with each child, but it would have been nice to have the reserved two queen beds.
The room was very spacious and clean. It was luxurious and overlooked the larger pirate ship. The breakfast was yummy, and the staff were very attentive. We appreciated the late checkout so that our kids could enjoy the pool a while longer. We will be back!

ItalyEverything was just perfect . the hotel staff knowing that was our honeymoon had extra care of us . Our room was upgraded and they took care of all the details : flowers, cake ,roses , drinks and all sort of room's decorations. Maxine and all her team really helped us to enjoy as much we could our stay . we will definitely go back to enjoy a relaxing weekend using all the facilities of the hotel , from the very good restaurants until the amazing pool . looking forward to go back .

Hong KongThe view of room is blocked by trees. Also felt disturbed by the KTV nearby even with the windows closed. Fortunately the loud singing finally stopped at around 9-ish pm. The TV is a bit far from the bed and there are not many choices of TV programs or films for non-locals. The bed is too soft, and high for elderly.
Room is very large and spacious with a nice hot tub. The hotel is next to Exit C of metro station, with a large outdoor swimming pool and beach. Great variety of choices for breakfast buffet, especially coffee, Chinese tea, and fruit juices.
