It was difficult trying to access the hotel as too many cars parked around the entrance.

Everything was fine except that it was difficult getting a taxi. Fortunately the staff were great in arranging transportation. The room were large, clean and comfortable, the restaurant in the hotel was very good. The hotel is ideally situated for tourists with many shops within the area. The metro is within walking distance

Personel did not speak english very well. They forgot to give us an wifi code, so next day had to ask for it, then she did not give the code but just entered it in my phone. I asked the reception guys at grond floor to arrange an taxi to the airport. They told i had to pay them and they will arrange a car with their private account. I strongly think i payed too much and they wanted to earn money on me.

1. There is a delay and congestion at the reception desk staff. 2. The bathrooms in the rooms do not have a bidet shower (W.C.), which discourages me from staying here again unless they add one. 3. Two days after I checked in, they asked for the invoice, claiming I hadn't paid, so I provided it. When I extended my stay for two more days, they again requested the invoice, and I provided it. When I extended my stay for the third time, they asked for the invoice again upon checkout….They requested the invoice three times, despite me having paid everything before stay. I don't know why they lost their copies of the invoices, and there is no electronic system to track payments. Therefore, I recommend keeping a copy of your payment receipt when staying at this hotel. 4. Most of the food in the hotel is Asian, meaning the hotel restaurant does not offer a variety of Arabic or even Western dishes, as is common in international hotels.

1. The hotel's location is beautiful, situated close to the promenade street and shopping areas. 2. I stayed in a premium room for a small additional fee; it was spacious and suitable for a family. 3. The hotel rooms are beautiful, modern, and clean. 4. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the concierge staff. 5. There is an Arabic restaurant near the hotel called Al Falafel, just 100 meters away, offering a variety of Arabic dishes. There are also other Western restaurants and a 7-Eleven supermarket nearby.

Reception experience awful - picked this hotel because I wanted to be sure they would speak English but no one did. Arrived early but so do a lot of people so cannot get into room early and queue at reception very long and tiring after a long flight. Lift system horrible and time consuming - have to witch half way up. Impersonal. Not really worth the premium price - just as good hotels nearby on the street at just over half the price.

Location excellent on Nanjing road pedestrian street and near several metro lines. Room view second to none - lovely floor to ceiling window with great view over Shanghai skyline; Room much bigger than normal even for the best hotels. This and view make it an excellent choice.

Many of the front desk staff do not speak English - in a Conrad Hotel! Check in took far too long. It took 20 minutes to queue and then 30 minutes to complete checkin procedures.

1. The hotel required us to pay some amount when we checked in, and the smount was pretty expensive. So the amount creditted was not the same price as we book the in booking.com. Understand that we usually also need some deposit amount, but usually it was an open card. But here, you need to pay in advance, and they will return back at check out time. 2. I booked 2 rooms, and asked for a same level room. So when i got my room, i got 1room same as the one in the description, but the othe one was so ugly. The toilet door couldnt be locked, and the wardrobe was rotten. The room looked very old, but after some complains i got another room that similar with the other one, but in a different level.

The location is very good, very close to people square shopping and restaurant.

The check-in process was a bit slow and the staff's English proficiency was limited but it didn't significantly detract from our overall experience.

My family and I recently enjoyed a delightful four-night stay at Conrad Shanghai. The hotel's location is truly superb, making it easy for us to explore the city. We opted for a premium king room to comfortably accommodate three adults with an additional bed for our two small boys. While the room felt a bit tight after adding the extra bed, the overall comfort and amenities were excellent. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic breakfast spread, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start our days right.

Only hotel option for breakfast was a very nice but expensive buffet. A minor nit. We would have preferred a breakfast made to order.

Location right off Nanjing Road pedestrian mall so lots of eating and shopping options just outside the door. Our room had a view down the street enabling us to watch the sunrise over the Bund.
