Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesFacial tissues in the rooms would have been helpful! And it was surprisingly difficult to find more bottled water than what was provided in the room. Some of the rooms used for sessions of my conference were kept much too cold.
Great views of the Andes, the park of Cerro San Cristobal, and the city from my room! I was surprised and pleased by the crafts shop on the floor below the lobby, which was staffed by a very knowledgeable man who I believe had curated the items being sold. There were some absolutely beautiful textiles and ceramics made in Chile, so I was happy to be able to buy a few gifts there. I also liked the backyard area--I was a little unwell my first couple days and couldn't leave the hotel to go sightseeing, but I was well enough to leave my room and sit outside a bit, and it was nice to see some of the local birds. Finally, I massively appreciate that the staff was able to accommodate my request for late check-out on the day of my flight.

It's a great hotel traveling for work or pleasure. The open areas are beautiful and full of people to meet. Th einternet is great if you need to woirk and there are places in the lobby bar where you can have your face-to-face or virtual meetings.

United KingdomPaper cups in the room were disappointing. If you have a City View room you’ll need ear plugs due to loud traffic noise.
The staff were very pleasant and spoke English. Pool area was nice and food was available around the pool. Gym was very good with lots of equipment. Hop On Hop Off bus stops outside the hotel.

Really beautiful pool area. Lots of space. Sky bar at floor 21. Bed was comfy, shower great and air con worked. Blinds great to stop the morning sun for that lie in. Bfast was nice outside.

United KingdomUnreasonable taxi fare. Other 5 star hotels in Santiago charge your much less. This hotel charges 50% more just for a very simple service of calling an official taxi. Location also not great.
Clean and comfortable. Pillows, mattresses, bed linen are great. Pool area is very nice with a good view. Friendly staff.

ChileTo be frank, comparing value vs money I think there was no balance. Closing the bar early with people enjoying inside is a bad strategy for groups trying to celebrate. Finally billing the parking slot even when you paid your room was too much.
