We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Chilefor being a 5 star hotel it wasn’t very good. the toilet paper in the toilets was very bad quality. Shampoo and conditioner was bad quality as well. the room was not vacuumed after made. The service in the terrace was good but the quality of drinks was terrible. we asked for a juice which was very expensive and it was like a bad quality juice from the supermarket which was filled in simple 200 cc glass with very bad presentation.
Location was good and wonderful views from the beedroom.

CanadaOur sheets had stains both the bed cover and the overlay. The heater was clanking all night. We wanted to hear the ocean, instead we heard clanking all night. We had to go and get our keys re-scanned 2x in 3 days as they would stop working. The main walkway to the beach was being repaired, which isn't the hotels fault. But made it harder to walk around. Most people j-walked across the front street to get to the other side. A fun risky activity every morning and evening! Overall, for the price paid, it was not a 5-Star experience.
The View was absolutely 💯. The food was very pricey but good. There is beach access adjacent, it isn't private though, so if you think you're getting a private beach with the hotel, you are not. The pool, gym and spa were great too.

Check in took ages and we had to ask for additional staff. The gym was excellent, although the outside pool was closed due to the weather. The location is not great though unless you want to stay in the hotel. It is a long walk to any shops or bars and the hotel bar is not cheap. The pavement from the hotel into Vina Del Mar is currently closed and walking the one narrow side that is open is impossible with people walking the other way. we wouldn’t go back but if you want to stay in the hotel then it may be a good choice!

SpainThe payments system used is not fit for purpose. They would not accept my credit card to pay in dollars as the system does not recognise my card as a credit card. Eventually I was able to play in Pesos (we were in Chile after all), but still insisted on a deposit in dollars, which the system would not process. Eventually I had to leave a cash deposit with the desk which to their credit refunded without quibble when we left. Unfortunately I was then left with a pile of pesos at the airport - not good.
The room and balcony were fine. Standard Marriot Fare.

The first day we were on the beach, so it was a lot of sand in our bathroom after, the next day after the cleaning I found out that the cleaning lady didn’t clean our bath at all as all sand was on the floor and in the tub After check-in there were no hygiene kit in our room. The indoor pool really needs renovation.

ChileThe building is a bit tired and could use a refurbish. Door handle was wobbly and broken, grout in the bathroom shower area needed work, carpet in the hallways was tired, little dents on walls, bathrooms in the rooms were clean but could use a refurbish as well. Service at the restaurant is good but the food itself is poor quality. Even simple dishes like Spaghetti Bolognese and Fettuccini Alfredo are butchered. There are numerous canned sauces that are much better than the product produced at this restaurant. Bottom line what you are getting is a great location and view with tired old rooms and poor food. A Sheraton should be better than this. In general I find Sheraton’s to be pretty good quality, this was definitely the worst Sheraton that I have stayed at in terms of room quality and food. Again, the service was good here.
The view and location are excellent, staff is friendly and helpful.

ChileToilet air extractor, not working. If you want a good internet u need to pay. Bad organized breakfast. Expectations really do not match with reality, price is soo expensive... I was expecting something absolutely better. The hotel want to charge everything, the feeling is like to be a cow been touched by a butcher. Bad and sad feelings once u stay the just a little. In order to be fair, the staff is awesome, the workers are great.... but just that.

Excellent view from the room and most facilities, including gym. Extraordinary sunsets. Very good breakfast. Very good gym. Good parking although a little far away from the hotel's entrance.
