Cabanas Kauken is a wonderful place on earth to stay. During winter after we did the W trek, we stayed one week in Cabanas Kauken. We rent a cabana for four people as we were travelling with our family. Both sleeping rooms are very comfortable, with an amazing view, you can wonder sunset – sunrise, changing of the light. Every day we relaxed in the hot tub, the first evening with a glass of champagne. We enjoyed breakfast with fresh fruit. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were great. We love this location in the nature to relax. You can reach the city easily by uber or taxi. The owner is very friendly, also extremely helpful. He advises good restaurants, trips you can do in the neighborhood. He offered us an exceptional service to drive us to the city and the airport, he took care of our luggage during the W trek. We really appreciate that the cabana was warm nevertheless the cold outside temperature -18° , we had enough duvets to sleep and even running water. The overall standard and the exceptional service was second to none.

    Nothing. Our experience was perfect.

Cabañas Kauken is an experience. The quite view, the sunset, the hot bath, the confort installations, and the anticipation David, the admin, had to book day trekkings, taxis, and even food delivery (after a day trekking, a hotbath with food were waiting for us) was just priceless.

Would be nice to add a hot plate so that there are more flexibility to cook your own meals as the town is a drive away and cooking your own meals can give you better food options for a multi-day stay.

The room was very clean and cosy and made the perfect home base for exploring Puerto Natales and Torre del Paine. The private hot tub was perfect luxury to relax tired muscles after long days hiking Torres del Paine. David was very thoughtful, polite, and attentive host and was amazing at helping coordinate local tours and providing best suggestions to make my stay the best it can be.

    All was good!

The cabanas are one of the most comfortable and pleasant places I've stayed all throughout my travels. David is incredibly dedicated to his guests' satisfaction and comfort, checking in multiple times per day throughout our stay to ensure all needs were met. The sauna was proper hot, the hot tub was lovely, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the views unbeatable. Just outside town, but close enough to be convenient. Would definitely return!

The cabana was extremely clean and comfortable. It was a short (and affordable) taxi ride away from downtown or the airport, and the owner was able to help us call for our taxis. We absolutely loved the hot tub and sauna; what a perfect recovery after a trek. Breakfast was included and stocked in our mini fridge upon our arrival. Everything worked out wonderfully!

    Nothing bad about this place!

We had the best stay at Cabañas Kauken. David, the host was amazing, he helped us in every way possible. The place itself was quiet, clean with incredible views of the mountains. We didn't want to leave! Thanks again David, you really made our trip, Aidan and Kara

David was an amazing host, being always available and really trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hut was amazing, impeccably clean and with everything to make our stay comfortable, such as shampoo, nice towels, bathrobes etc. The highlight was the hot tub and sauna, with amazing views on the surrounding landscapes. Everything is well maintained and it was really nice to warm up after all the hikes in the national park. The hut is located outside of the city so the best option is to have an own car and be able to drive around.

David is the best host. We had a super comfortable stay at Cabana Kauken and our view was simply amazing! The hot tub also comes in handy after days of hiking. The cabana is spacious, clean, well stocked and cozy! We had an amazing time and can really recommend this place. The property has a dedicated taxi contact and it's an expensive and short ride into Puerto Natales.

The Cabana was - by far - the best place we have stayed at during our vacation in Patagonia - the private hot pod & sauna, the extremely comfortable beds as well as the panoramic view towards the mountains and the quiet location were truly unique. Our host was very friendly and supported us during our stay and provided valuable recommendations on how to best get to our next destination El Calafate.

At that rate, breakfast could be a little more diverse and plentiful, but it's a very minor inconvenience

The rave reviews didn't disappoint! What a gem of a place - our cabaña was super spacious, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and great little details everywhere. The best part was the giant wooden hot tub, which felt luxurious and was blissful after a long day of hiking. It's out of the way from the center of town (but just a short taxi ride away, which you can easily order from there), which is great if you want a quiet experience of disconnecting and relaxing. But the best part of our stay was David, our wonderful host, who was always ready to lend a hand (to order food after our late arrival, etc.) and made us feel right at home. His attention to detail is excellent, and you can really tell he wants his guests to have a great experience. The cabañas are stocked with breakfast food for the duration of the stay - pretty basic food but it does the job. And the views are gorgeous, you're in the middle of nature with the mountains in the background - priceless. Definitely recommend this place for a restful stay in Puerto Natales!
