Our wifi connection/phone signal wasn't the best, but this was not a big issue since most of our time was spent exploring the island. We encountered a few cockroaches in the bungalow - one we brought outside, and the other ran away and hid deeper inside the room. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, and we wish we could stay longer!

Christophe and Rosario are wonderful hosts! They are very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable about Rapa Nui (Easter Island). They helped us get to the place from the airport, they answered our questions in a timely manner, and they gave useful advice. They also hand-delivered fresh bread for breakfast to us every morning! The bungalow exceeded my expectations. It was very nice, and we really liked the shower (like the detachable shower head). There was a washing machine and a foldable drying rack. We were given two towels per person.

Wonderful host, picked up at the airport and looked after for the full week in the family bungalow. Great relaxing location with a nice view of the sea from the front porch and about 30 minutes walk into the town. Christophe took our family of four on 2 excellent full day tours and the sunrise at Ahi Tongariki, learnt lots of useful and interesting information about Rapa Nui and the best places to take photos. Would highly recommend.

Clean, spacious, quiet, beautiful. 2 minutes from beautiful sunset and stargazing locations. Christophe is a dream host, one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met. He showed us the city, gave tips, brought us into the city by car when the weather was bad and he’s really funny. There is an “initial breakfast kit” with butter, jam, juice and water in the fridge the first day, and you get fresh bread every morning.

Slightly far from the village ie. restaurants and shops. There is complementary fresh bread delivery (every day in the morning) and some additions on the first day, nor real breakfast like noted in booking (not major issue but it is good to know).

Beautiful location (nicer than in the village). Very clean and convenient apartment, with nice veranda. Quality of the house better than most of the others. Very interesting and informative tours of the village with Christophe, the landlord and the guide at the same time. These are not big group tours: we were just 2 of us, max could be 4.

A bit far to walk to the town and back for shopping food, especially on hot days. It will be nice to have bicycles to rent from the property or nearby.

Rosario was very helpful when we had difficulties in online payments. Both Christophe and Rosario been lovely hosts they were there to help you. It's in the quiet area and even had a Starlink service for internet, which is great when you are in such a remote island.

Quiet area, garden full of flowers, comfortable bed. Private accommodation with nice terrace. Close to the west coast view. Twenty minutes walking from the main street. Excellent hospitality. We were fully relaxed.

Nothing to dislike.

A quiet, out of town position with the faint sound of the ocean, perfect. Spacious, clean, well equipped with kitchen facilities, a large, comfy bed, good shower. No a/c but a good fan which was fine and even that wasn't needed at times despite being summer. A lovely covered terrace to relax and eat on in a lovely garden of hibiscus. A 20 minute walk to town which may not suit everyone but the peace and ocean sounds were worth it and scooter hire soon eradicated that. Christophe and Rosario were perfect hosts, very helpful but discreet Would happily stay again.

No microwave though I am sure they would have given us one if I had asked. Would be nice to have a mirror outside the bathroom as well.

Great location on the road to the orongo volcano and just opposite ana kai tongata caves and granite formation with place rocks ,perfect for sunset watching over the ocean . Large family room with Christophe giving us fresh eastern island bread /buns everyday. Tip: buy olive oil at one of the supermarkets along with salt and pepper , buns are perfect pairing with it! Especially if you warm it up a bit. Nice bedrooms with all rooms wood paneled. Has clothes hanger that is all stainless steel for drying outside on the patio by the kitchen. Also has full washer , Rosario also gave us some laundry wash liquid. Great couple and very helpful. Christophe is in originally French, picked us up with fresh garlands of flowers ,no plastic here! Great gas stove with 5 burners , stainless vessels 2 large, 2 frying pans , 4 mugs porcelain , 4 glasses, wine glasses, large and small spoons , plastic utensils for non stick pans . Instant gas water heaters for entire house with warm and cold water on all taps. Nice to hear rain while sleeping ! Also came with 1 large portable standing fans for when it gets too warm and need air. Has large fridge and freezer. They even had jam in the fridge for us and peach juice I think in a glass pitcher. Suggest you get a rental car for a few days if needed so you can shop or have Rosario give you a taxi number for Luis to take you around for like $5 usd or so. Loved the location overall, outside the main city for star watching while just 5 min from airport. Can walk to city center in about 20 to 30 minutes. Christophe has taken a lot of care in building this property and it shows. Great value.

Nothing everything was great!

Firstly, Rosario and Christophe are amazing hosts. They treated us like old friends and made sure our stay was comfortable. The property is ideally located in an area that is close to the airport and the city centre. The rooms are immaculate and have all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The fridge was well stocked with cold water, juice, jams and butter and there was a special delivery of bread every morning for breakfast. Additionally, Christophe is a treasure trove of knowledge which was evident as he took us around the island. Internet service was great and the charm of the location was enhanced with a great view of the ocean.

Christophe was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We took several tours with him and would highly recommend them. Having a washing machine on the property was very helpful. Our son loved the cute cat which lives on the property.
