It is a world away from the ubiquitous chain hotels - this family-run home-from-home is intimate, warm, beautifully designed and chic without being flashy. The food was particularly good; freshly prepared using very high-quality local ingredients. The menu was limited but did not disappoint. The owners were good enough to light the wonderful open fire in the restaurant to warm up the cool evenings - perfect for my son and I to play chess and enjoy a nightcap.”
